There is something extraordinary about a living souls ability to consider another. Despite what many people say, even in the animal kingdom, it is not as simple as dog eat dog world. It would seem that that is a sorry excuse people use to account for their own lack of courtesy towards others. If a hand were to reach out for help in a lake you should grab it and pull them ashore. In a world where many would continue walking past a tragedy, can you help but wonder if everyone reached out a hand to grab those reaching out of the abyss. Compassion is rather important. It reminds us to show grace to those struggling souls we find. You were once, maybe still, and could be one of those struggling souls. You could wonder what it would have been if someone has just reached down to you, or instead remember what is was like when no one did. You could wonder what would happen if you reached out to the struggling soul, almost void of light or you could just reach. You could wonder if teaching would hurt your own soul or you could reach anyway and see they just needed a ladder to reach the light. You could wonder how long the darkness would stay or you could make the light. The mind is a powerful thing and wondering can be quite wonderful. But wondering does not do. Wondering is a series of what ifs in an imaginary space. Could you help but wonder if we stopped wondering so much?
