"Do you know that snow is not white?"
He always gets excited about the snow. And I have grown to love winter exactly because of it.
I watch my childhood friend have fun amidst the falling ice crystals. The frost mist looks wonderful, floating like sparkling dust in the air. Yet, what I find most fascinating is the man who smiles the brightest during this season.
Humoring him, I say, "Yeah? The surroundings turn white when covered with snow though."
He beams, his expression warm despite the weather. "Yes, but in reality, snow is not white but transparent like diamonds."
