Caden had a good night's sleep as he was dead tired yesterday but his mind was wondering, did he hear someone fighting on top of the roof last night? Or was it just a figment from his imagination?
"Awake?"
Caden's furs stand on end as his mouth let out a frightened sound.
Evan makes a disapproving glance at him, "You're sense of perception is very lacking. You need to be trained or else, you will hold me back in the future."
Caden sticks his tongue out, see if I listen to you!
Suddenly his tongue was pulled out making him freeze in shock.
"I will pull your tongue out the next time you will pull this move." Caden felt scared and he look at him with his watery eyes, his pupils round and cute.
"That will not work on me." The other sternly warns him.
Then it doesn't work, please let go of my tongue. Caden was begging silently in his mind.
The other finally let go of his tongue and he immediately put it back inside his mouth. His tongue doesn't feel like it was his own anymore. Feeling wrong, he looked down, his eyes watering.
He used his two paws to cover his mouth looking at the other pitifully, but not daring to look up at his expression.
"Do you want me to pull it back again?" Caden let go of his mouth and drop on all fours to the ground.
Bad human! Caden yells in his mind and he immediately feels better. Good, good. Just curse him out on his mind. Good, good.
After feeling better, he felt his body being lifted finally settling on the other's chest with only his head peeking out making him dumbfounded, he felt that the person who just threatened to pull his tongue out earlier is not the same as the person carefully lifting him up. Anyway, this is much better than walking with his palm size body on the ground, he might end up being stepped on if he insisted on walking on his own.
"Hello Esteemed Guest, do you want your breakfast to be served now?" The same woman who had entertained them yesterday spoke to them.
"Prepare a bath for me in my room. I'll have my breakfast here," He was about to turn around when he pause and then added to the woman who is now bowing her head, "Please prepare a little bowl on my table add more meat on it, and a tiny bathtub with body wash enough for this little beast on my room."
Caden felt warm inside knowing how the other was so considerate of him.
When he was put on top of the table he looked at the man before him with shining emerald green eyes and called out softly.
"Remember these favors I gave you and repay me by being useful to me in the future, do you hear me?"
