Why Does Blue Angel Have A Whip?

Two students from Den City High School, Yusaku Fujiki and Syke Zaizen, were on a lunch date, as Ai would put it even when they would just hang out, at Cal Kolter's hot dog stand, which owner of the stand teased him that he was hanging out other than him, a robot that he made or a computer program.

As they were eating hot dogs, something came to Yusaku Fujiki's mind, "Skye."

Skye turned towards Yusaku, "Hmm?"

"Why does your Avatar, Blue Angel, have a whip?" he asked.

Skye swallowed whatever she was eating as she looked at Yusaku, "And why do you ask that?"

Yusaku looked at the hot dog as he said, "Well to me it is incredibly impractical. Why would you have a whip in a world where most people duel and nothing," he then remembered the Knights of Hanoi, "mostly," he then remembered when she got corrupted, "usually," he then remembered multitudes of Data Storms in LINK VRAINS, "Before all of this happened?"

Skye nervously looked away as she took a bite, remembering the real reason why she had a whip.

"Akira! This is just ridiculous!" yelled Skye at her older brother as he told that she needed to have a whip with her avatar in LINK VRAINS. "I can't have this! And it's incredibly useless!"

"Skye," started Akira Zaizen, "Remember when I told you that I will allow you to use LINK VRAINS as long as you listen to everything I say?"

The younger Zaizen sibling then dropped her head, "Yes, I do."

"Good." He nodded, "I gave you the permission to use it as long as you are being safe and I don't want any of those filthy men to be anywhere near you. So use a whip to protect yourself from them."

"I understand." she said as she added a whip to her avatar.

Skye nervously laughed as soon as she finished her bite of the hot dog sandwich, "It's for my fans." Yusaku noded, knowing that fans are extremely pushy and annoying. He still remembers that time when he saw the Playmaker merchandise.

"Ah, I understand." he said as they continued their 'date'.
