Carnival Puff

Fun was the correct word to describe the carnival, and it was a one that could certainly be described during this night at the Den City Annual Halloween Carnival, which lasts around the last week of October.

The costumes were just of the regular old monsters like Frankestein's monster, Dracula and the Wolfman, with a couple of people dressing up as popular characters from popular series and manga.

Yusaku was on the bench after one rollercoaster, Akira, Emma and Skye were in a Haunted Mansion which gave everyone several heart attacks along the way as Akira jumped in Emma's arms when he was afraid, The Knights of Hanoi were playing that game in the water bucket where you have to take an apple with your mouth, but only Alec had the hang of that and Kolter and Jin were grilling some good hotdogs with a pumpkin taste. Gore was sitting on one of those games that if you throw it at a target you will fall with Ai throwing the ball at him.

But for the couple that just got there from Mustafu City, Theodore Hamilton and Kiku Kamishirakawa, as they were dressed like Terra and Aqua respectively from the popular gaming franchise Kingdom Hearts.

They were currently going over the stands as they tried several different types of food like some hotdogs, corndogs and all of the different sorts of small food, not to mention they went on some rides, with Theodore nearly running to a trashcan after one ride that wasn't even going that fast with Kiku patting him on the back, and played some games like the one with the Hanoi which Ryoken, who was dressed as Sasuke, was this close to losing his mind.

They went around to see couple of stands that were selling some interesting stuff, especially something that they were both interested in, like a couple of plushies from Duel Monsters like Kuriboh, Neos and Odd-Eyes, some Pokemon like Sobble and Greninja, but what really got Kiku's attention was one stand with a throwing game that had Kirby characters.

Now, to say that Kiku was a fan of Kirby would be the understatement of the century as if you asked her anything about Kirby she would go on an hour ramble about the topic, she has a couple of plushies and she has all of the games.

And Theodore knew how much she loved the games as she would constantly talk about the games and he would be too much in love with her to care about what was going on in those stories, but was caught off guard whenever he hears about the fact that Kirby is an eldritch being.

Kiku looked at the plushies and saw them as she knew that they were those that she didn't have like King Dedede, Meta Knight, Galaxy Knight, Marx and more, so she tried her hardest to get one of them as she placed a 5 dollar bill on the counter and threw the ball at the pins, but unfortunately they all missed.

She tried again.

And again.

And again.

But unfortunately, all of them failed.

She dropped her head in shame as she tried her hardest to get those plushies, but her efforts were not existent as she didn't managed to get them.

Theodore hates seeing her sad, because he loved seeing her happy and energetic as always, so he walked up to the counter, "Here, Kiku. Let me try." he said as Kiku looked at him and then smiled.

"Sure, go ahead, Teddy." she said with a smile as Theodore felt like he was overwhelmed with power as when the balls were at the counter, he immediately took one of them and threw it and full force, knocking all of the pins down in an instant.

The person that was running the stand was in complete shock as he looked at Theodore with an expression that showed pure exhilaration.

"Ohm, congratulations, young man! You won yourself a plush!" the man said as Theodore and Kiku looked at the selection. They looked around as she saw a Magolor plushie and that is when her eyes began to shine.

Theodore smiled as he picked that one. The man gave it to Theodore who in return gave to Kiku, "Here Kiku, hope you- hmpf!" he couldn't finish that sentence as Theodore was kissed by Kiku by surprise.

After a few seconds, their lips departed as Kiku hugged the Magolor plushie with a stunned Theodore, "Thank you so much, Teddy! I love this so much!" she said with a wide smile.

Theodore blushed when seeing this as he gripped his fist into a ball as he took out his wallet and slammed the 5 dollar bill with a determined look on his eyes.

After an hour or so, the rest of their friend group were in shock at what they were seeing.

They saw Theodore holding every single plushie that he got for Kiku, while she was holding his hand with clear blush on her face while they were walking.

Well then... that is one way to end the day.
