"Omg mom what is so important about this family meeting that I have to put on such a tight dress". I said as my mom continued to tighten my dress "Elora, you are a princess and a princess..." "Never complains" I said finishing her sentence for her, god I'd strangle the person who came up with that stupid rule "Okay mom I'll take it from here" My sister and best friend in the whole world said , I tell her about all the fictional men I'm in love with and she listens to every single one of them without complaints. I love my sister to death " Madi oh I'm glad you're here, could you loosen this I'm suffocating" she lets out an adorable laugh " don't worry El I got you, I know mom can go a bit over board at times but she'll come around.. let's get going before mom and dad start deploying guards to come get us" I go to the dinning room with Madison holding my arm like the men do to their lovers in books, I see a man old enough to be my dad at the table and I couldn't help but feel nervous about what was going to happen but I went down with Madi anyways. "Ahh you're even prettier in person" the strange man gets up and takes my hand in his and I courtesy in order not to look rude. "I'm Konstantin Putin ex don of the Russian Mafia, I'm pleased to see you again" Again? So this Konstantin and I have met before.. why don't I recognize him then. I'm snapped out of my thoughts as he pulls a seat out for me and helps me to sit. I smile politely as he goes back to sit down. After several chit chats here and there, my father starts to go on about this alliance and I've heard the story so many times before so I couldn't help but feel bored... Every twenty-years the youngest daughter of the crowned King of Genesis has to get married to the current ruling Mafia king. I knew it was going to be me and I was ready to get into an arranged marriage and live the y/n life. "So Elora,are you ready to accept the responsibility?" my father says and I snap out of my daze" umm... Yeah, yeah" Konstantin looked happy about my response and it would be embarrassing if they found out I wasn't paying attention so I just kept quiet and nodded my head like I knew what was going on. Then finally my mother spoke " The wedding is tomorrow" What? Whose wedding is it I thought " What?" Madison exclaimed "that's too soon" " No it's tradition" my mother replied leaving me in utter confusion. "who's getting married" I asked " Elora haven't you been listening to your dad, you're getting married" My mother announced happily.
