The Communication

The scene starts with Nate sleeping on the couch, Nate is tossing and turning, He starts having another vision of the dimming light in the woods, it is night and he hears a softly low echo, "Come closer" The closer he gets he hears a low humming sound, Nate turns around as he hears "Clicking noises and Crackling of branches" As if he's not alone, fog appears and slowly moves through the trees, seeming to bring Nate closer to the dimming light, Nate turns back towards the mysterious light and suddenly, he hears "Wake up", The voice suddenly sounds like Diana and Nate wakes up to Diana tapping Nate on the shoulder with sunlight shining on his face.

Nate in confusion he says i'm up, not telling Diana the dream he just had, Diana asks Nate if he could drive her to work, And Nate replies sure. the two walk outside to a sunny clear sky, Nate goes into the shed to get the Jerrycan for Diana, And puts it in the car.

They both get into the car and start driving, On the road to the Diner there are several military vehicles driving the opposite direction, They finally get into town and there are police there as well as electricians checking all the powerlines.

Nate and Diana get out of the car and look down the street as people are all outside the stores,  talking to each other, Diana tells Nate thank you for letting me stay over and Nate replies, its no worries let me fill up your tank, Nate grabs the Jerrycan and pours the gas into the tank while more Military vehicles drive down the street.

Nate turns and watch's the vehicles drive past, And gets a weird feeling about the situation he looks at his arm and his hairs stick up, He hears a voice in his head with an echo saying "Find us", Nate feels tense as he feels like he's being watched, like someone is behind him.

He turns around while holding the Jerry can only to see that there are no more people outside, he slowly puts the Jerrycan down and his mood changes immediately, he goes inside the diner and calls for Diana but no one replies, Diana's car suddenly turns on and Nate turns around in a panic, the windows start to condensate, And water falls down the windows he opens the door and a breeze flows in with a whisper saying "Help us".

Nate shakes to the sound of Diana's voice saying are you alright?,  Your acting strange, Nate is still pouring gas into the car as if it didn't happen Nate replies ye- yea i'm alright, Diana says maybe your still tired Nate replies, no i'm okay, Nate finishes pouring the Jerrycan and tells Diana "that should do it".

Diana thanks Nate for all the help, and the two hug, Nate says i have to go back to check on the power with Jeff, Diana asks will you be here later, Nate replies "yes in the afternoon".

The two say their goodbyes, And Nate gets back into his car, he changes the radio station, and hears on one of them that " The entire town has lost power and they should resolve the issue in the next few hours". Nate starts driving back to the cabin, as Nate is pulling in there are military officers asking Jeff questions.

Nate gets out of the car and walks up to Jeff and the officers, they ask nate the same questions, "Has there been anything unusual happening near their property in the past few days" Nate looks at Jeff and back at the officers nodding, And says no not that i can recall.

the officers say well that's enough questions thank you for your time, And get back into their vehicles Nate looks at Jeff, and says what was that about, Jeff replies i'm not so sure something big must be going down, As they're going back into the cabin.

Nate tells Jeff whatever happened last night with the radio was strange, Jeff replies that wasn't a language i've ever heard of, Jeff says do you think we received a hidden military conversation.

Nate tells jeff there's something i need to say, and i don't think you would believe me if i told you, Jeff replies i'm here for you what is it, Nate tells jeff he's been having visions and strange thoughts, as if he was in a living dream, Jeff slightly laughs and says are you feeling well, the two laugh hysterically, Nate replies i'm serious its been happening for awhile now, Jeff says i cant tell if your being honest, but with everything that's been going on it would make sense, What if it where aliens from "OUTER SPACE".

Nate says i've never felt such way in my life, that would be the only explanation for what's going on, Jeff replies what could they want, Nate replies i'm not sure the last thing i remember is someone saying find us, Jeff replies "You talk to them now?", oh yea your definitely crazy, Nate Replies I'm Serious!, Jeff replies this is a conversation best told after a few beers at the bar, Nate replies maybe your right i'm going to check on that radios transistor, Jeff replies its no good i checked on it while you where away, Nate says are there any back up transistors, Jeff says, that was the only one we had and it got fried.

Nate says maybe ill go back into town and pick some up, Jeff says i'll see what i can take apart from the other radios, Nate replies i'll get going then. Nate walks outside, and gets into his car and drives away, He arrives into town, And stops by the hardware store to get a new radio, as Nate leaves the store to put the new radio in the car, He checks in on Diana across the street at the diner, Nate walks into the diner and sits on one of the stools.

Nate sees Diana and the two say good evening, Nate tells Diana the military where at our cabin asking questions, Diana says they might be staying for while, its all over the news as she hands him a newspaper, Diana tells Nate there's even policemen from out of town wondering what's going on here.

Nate replies this is getting out of hand, Me and Jeff were discussing strange visions i've been seeing, and he thought i was crazy at first but they seemed so real!, you know its hard to explain maybe ill tell you another time, it feels like i'm being watched by something or someone all the time.

Diana replies just don't let it all go to your head, i knew something was going on with you i just didn't know what. Diana says you want your usual, Nate replies yes thank you, Diana walks away and Nate looks at the newspaper and reads a Headline "Strange lights fall from the sky?", And Nate gets even more suspicious, Nate sees military vehicles pull into the parking lot as he has deja vu of the previous day. its like the day repeated again the military officers sit in the same booth and Nate looks out the window.

The military officer in the passenger seat sees Nate through the window and shuts his door. Diana walks up to Nate and hands him his food and sits with him, Nate leans forward and whispers to Diana and says, Diana this exact day happened before, The military officers walk in and sit ant the same booth and i look outside and the same officer in the truck shuts his door on me.

Diana leans forward smiling and says, should i be concerned?, Nate replies no but something really strange is going on here, You think you can talk to the officers at the booth?, Diana replies So i should be concerned, Nate replies no i just want to see what they are talking about, Diana replies wait here and walks away.

Nate watches as Diana talks to the officers at the booth shortly after Diana slowly walks away from the officers with a straight face, and looks at Nate while walking towards him, Nate is prepared for anything, Diana sits at the booth with Nate and leans in to tell Nate I have no idea what just happened, they said the same thing they said the other day they didn't even recognize me, Nate says You see what i'm talking about?, Diana replies shh keep your voice down!.

Diana says how many people know about this, Nate replies just me you and Jeff, Diana replies that's the strangest thing i've ever encountered, i have to come over again after my shift we all need to talk about this, Nate replies that's a good idea just act casual until then, We don't know who might be watching us, Nate says make sure you remember if anything unusual happens, Diana replies i will. Diana walks away and Nate eats his food,

as Nate eats he tries to listen in on the Military officers, suddenly the same news comes on about recent power outages Nate is now on full alert he begins to question the situation and knows what and why these things are happening as Nate eats his food he starts to have conversations in his head he asks Hello? is anyone there? and , Do you need help? at first he hears nothing he finally finishes his food he takes the news paper and goes over near the Military officers and says good evening gentleman and calls out for Diana, And says he's going back to the Cabin.

Diana tells Nate she'll go over to his house later to pick up that thing they were talking about, Nate replies i'll have it ready for you when you get there. The Scene Ends with Nate getting in his car...
