me, anna and maya start heading to mayas house for the project where we're gonna work
i'm sitting on mayas couch when there's a knock on the door maya and anna answer it
blah blah blah we go to the backyard to film
"ok kenzie is gonna film" maya says
"sounds good to me" i say
(i forgot who plays what character)
"maya you go get the milk" becca says
"what why" maya says confused
"cus you look different from the rest of us cus you know your tan" miranda says
i look at the girls gagged
"no ill get the milk it's fine maya doesn't have to do that" i say not wanting her to do it
"no it's fine" becca says
"no it's not i'll get it" i say annoyed
*after the project cus i don't remember what happens 🤪✌️*
i walk home and when i get inside i hear yelling from my parents so i go to my room and call dustin
"hello" he says as he answers
"hi" i say
"oh hi kenz what you doing"
"nothing... can i come over"
"yeah is there a reason"
"uhm my mom and da-"
"yeah you can come over"
"thanks"
"your welcome"
i hang up and change into

*you call it basic i call it basic but cute* i get to dustin's house and knock on the door
"hello kenz" he says as he answers the door
"hi dustin" i snicker
"come in" he says as he opens the door wider
"thank you" i say walking in
"so what do you want to do" he ask
"uhm i dont know we can go to the park if you want" i say
"sure let me grab a hood i and my sneakers i'll be right back stay here" he says heading upstairs
i start looking at picture frames one catching my eye
it's a school photo from when we were in first grade i had one of my front teeth missing and short hair dustin had all his teeth and short curly hair not like his now shorter. it was our whole class and me and dustin were standing next to each other and i'm looking at the camera and he is looking right at me with the biggest smile on his face he's looking at me not past me not at someone else "what you looking at" i hear from behind me
"just this photo" i say he walks next to me
"that was first grade right?"
"yeah i think so"
"so you ready to go" he ask
"yeah let's go" i say heading to the door and when we step outside he grabs my hand and starts walking to the park
