"What the fuck is his deal?" Shigaraki seethed.
"Who?" Toga asked.
Shigaraki nodded his head toward the entrance door. The door Dabi just scurried out of.
"Oh," Toga replied, "How would I know?"
Shigaraki huffed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Find out. Whatever it is, he clearly isn't focusing on the real task at hand."
"C'mon Shigs, you know how he gets sometimes. He'd never tell me-"
"Who said you had to ask? Follow him," he ordered.
Toga nodded vigorously. She grabbed a light jacket off of the edge of one of the couches that definitely was not hers.
Opening the door, she felt the temperature drop drastically. She was happy she grabbed Spinner's jacket. She trudged along the sidewalks taking a few turns, following him about 2 blocks of distance. It wasn't very busy tonight, so she knew she had to tread carefully. There were no crowds she could blend into.
Dabi walked Northwest toward 218. Crossing the road, he took a left, following 218 for about a block. He then took a right down a short road, passing a 7-11 with 2 cars getting fuel. She took note of his quick pace, wandering what on Earth he could have to do with his time that put him in such a rush. She struggled to catch up, but nonetheless, her mission was ordered by Shiagarki. She could not stray.
He then crossed another high traffic road, waiting for a single car to pass. He continued west onto a dead end. She waited at the east end of the block, watching his every move. Dabi took a right into the grass, making his own path around the building. She continued her trail, hoping she hadn't lost him. She was now in the grass, eyeing the hexagon-shaped building he had just walked into. Her eyebrows furrowed.
Toga dug into the jacket pocket for her phone. She felt the cold metal, gripping it quickly and going into her messages.
The library had a few cars there. Surely workers. Who even goes to the library anymore? Though, she didn't know where in the building Dabi was. She couldn't risk going inside and being seen.
Dabi typed on the keyboard as quick as he could. Of course, he never really had to use a computer, so his typing speed was embarrassingly slow. He searched for network and phone carriers in ____'s area. If he found this, he could open the possibility of making access to her home internet and everything connected to it. Lucky for him, a few phone companies in the area make their users information public access. Most people don't know this, seeing as it isn't marketed.
Every civilian's internet and carriers were right there on his screen... except for hers.
"USER NOT AVAILABLE," it read.
