Chapter 15~

Applejack's POV

To be honest, I didn't know if I should take this 'break' any longer. I remember not caring about being single, but now it kinda bothers me. I wanted to get back with Blitz, but yet I didn't.

Ignoring my thoughts I walked to school. By myself.. Blitz wanted to come walking with me, but I didn't want his car at the apartment complex. I eventually arrived there and was greeted by Rarity and Fluttershy. They asked me about what happened when they left. I told them that Blitz had come over. They asked if Blitz and I were together. I said no.

They left me to go to there classes. I made my way to the 12th grade hall and went to Social Studies. The teacher hadn't arrived yet, so I just sat there patiently. The teacher came in and started a new lesson about the history of the changelings. She said we where going to have partners for this assignment. I let out a sigh, remembering I would never met, Blitz if it wasn't for me being his tutor and all..

The teacher was calling out who was who's partner for the assignment. Without paying attention, I dosed off. Until I heard my name. I raised my head and looked at her as she had her eyes on the paper, she was holding. "With, Soarin! Okay pair up.." the words faded away "Great, another idiot ah have to deal with.." I muttered under my breath. "You know, I'm not that much of an idiot" I heard as a voice broke my thoughts.

"Heh.. sorry.." I looked up to see a navy blue haired stallion, smiling down at me "It's okay, Applejack, right?" I nodded as he sat down on the open seat next to me "So.. how much ya know 'bout changelings?" by the look he was given me, it probably wasn't alot. I let out a small laugh "Ah guess, that's why yer my partner.." he smiled at me and chuckled "I like your accent, Applejack." I felt the rush of heat go up to my cheeks. "T-Thank ya kindly.."

He smiled down at me when the bell rang. "Well.. you want to head to one of the studying rooms in the library.. and maybe do some research on changelings?" I smiled at him "Y-Yah.. during lunch and 4th period?" He nodded "Yeah, well see you later, Applejack" I smiled and left.

I was walking to the 10th grade hall when I was stopped by Rarity, "Ooooooh!!! I saw that!!" I tilted my head in confusion as we continued walking "What do ya mean?" she let out a giggle "Oh, how you smiled at him. And how you looked at him" I rolled my eyes and walked into class, "He's just a friend" she smirked "Sure.. just a friend.." I sat down and thought about what she said.

Maybe he's more than a friend..
But you've just met the guy!

My mind argued about how I felt about Soarin, but deep down inside I knew it was too soon to think about it. Ignoring my thoughts, I continued my work.

After class I walked to my locker and switched out my books. I headed to 3rd period and took a seat in the 1st row. Once I sat down I saw Blitz come in. We made eye contact for a very short amount of time. Ignoring it, I saw that he sat in the back today.

As class continued, I got lost in thought that the teacher had to call on me. Being the mare I am, I got embarrassed and just nodded at the teacher. The worst thing about it was that Blitz noticed. By that point I wanted class to end already.

Blitz's POV

Once I arrived to 3rd period I made short eye contact with Applejack. Not that it was weird or anything.. A couple minutes into class, I saw that Applejack was staring out the window. The teacher seemed to noticed that she called her name. I felt bad for her, I had the urge to give her a hug. I could tell she got embarrassed because her face became red. A couple of students snickered. Which made me a bit mad.

After class finished it was lunch time. I went with Berry and Dusk. I haven't really talked to them in a while.

I was sitting on one of the tables, just across the one Applejack was sitting in. I turned over to her direction when I saw a navy haired stallion sitting next to her.

I tried not to let jealousy get the best of me. So I ignored it.

After lunch, the teacher gave me a pass to skip 4th period, to go to the library. I gave it a thought,

Why, not.., I was on my way over there when I heard laughing and giggling. I was curious; I quietly made my way over there.

I let out a small gasp

No way!, I opened the door slightly "What's up guys?" I said walking in as they had there eyes on me. "Oh, Howdy Blitz..?" I sat in between them two "Uh, Blitz.. this is Soarin.." I looked over at him; he smiled at me "Hi-" I cut him off by 'accidentally' pushing him off his chair "Oops, sorry!" Applejack got off the bench to help him up "Are ya okay?" I nodded "Yeah I'm fine" she rolled her eyes "Ah wasn't talkin' to you"

Soarin got up "Yeah, I'm alright. It was just an accident, right?" He looked at me "Yeah, sure" I muttered under my breath. Applejack sat back in her spot "So, Blitz. What'd ya doin' here?" I shrugged "Oh nothing, just got a pass to go to the library" she nodded "Well, can ya please get out.. were tryin' to finish this assignment.." she smiled lightly at me "Uh yeah, Blitz" Soarin said looking at me. I gave him a glare and groaned "Fine.."

I left the study room and secretly watched them, behind a shelf and growled quietly,

I won't lose with out a fight..
