(Tuesday)

Jake's pov

My dad was calling me and I answered the phone.

“Hello?”
-Me

“Jaeyun, I just wanted to tell you. You know that Nareum girl? Yea, you better make sure that you want to marry her by the three month mark since I already met her”
He said.

“Why?”
I asked, confused because it was unreasonable.

“Or I'll set you up with Mr Nam's daughter. You better make a decision, and make it fast”
He warned.

?!?!?!?!

I hung up without saying anything and put my phone down.

“What happened?”
Jungwon asked.

“He wants me to confirm that I'm marrying Nareum by the third month mark. I thought we were already over that”
I sighed tiredly.

“That's not very long from now”
He replied.

“I know…and I just confessed”
I closed my eyes.

“You confessed??”
Jungwon walked towards me.

“Yea, on sunday. She accepted it, but it's too fast to move on to marriage”
I scratched my head.

“True. So what are you gonna do?”
He put his hands in his pockets.

“What else? I can only hope that she accepts it”
I tapped my finger on the arm rest.

“Enough with this, I don't want to think about it. I can't let that dumb thing ruin my mood”
I just wanted to change the topic.

“What are you going to do with Nareum today? Another date?”
He asked.

“Mhm. You're coming as well obviously”
I said.

“Is Eunseo coming too?”
Jungwon hid his hands behind his back.

“You can't live a day without her now, huh? Are you two dating too?”
I observed his guilty face.

“Um, sort of. Yeah..”
He pressed his lips together.

“Wow! And you never told me”
I smiled sarcastically.

“Why should I? It's my life”
Jungwon defended himself.

“Whatever, she's coming along too I guess. I'll ask Nareum to-”
I didn't get to finish my sentence.

“I'll tell her, but where are we going?”
He asked.

“It'll be a surprise for all of you, I'm not risking any spoilers. But we'll leave here at 5.15pm together”
I said.

“Okay, I'm gonna call her”
He took out his phone and dialled her number.

“Heyy, Eunseo. We're gonna-”
Jungwon walked away, his tone suddenly cheerful.

My assistant has grown while I was busy.

Timeskip
(5.45pm)

We spent some time in the car catching up on Jungwon and Eunseo's relationship and then enjoyed some music on the way to out destination 

“Oh my gosh, are we going to the beach?”
Nareum pointed towards the seaside.

“Yes”
I said, going into the parking lot.

“Oooh, we can see the sunset together”
I saw Eunseo holding onto Jungwon's arm from the rear view mirror.

I reversed my car and turned off the engine. Everyone got out of the car and I went to open the trunk. I took out the same large picnic mat and a fruit basket.
