One-shots: Dekubaku

A failed mission.

Everybody grew up. They're all adults now. Each and everyone became a hero. They all fought off villians and kept the country safe but what about their safety?
Most of the pro heroes faced trauma, lost their loved ones and some perished.

Katsuki's mind raced with thoughts as he walked down the hall, towards the main area where everyone else was. Beside him was Izuku, a nervous wreck to see his ex-classmates and friends who he hadn't seen in a year as he was on a mission. A damn hard one which he failed. He changed so damn much. He came back with a scar on his face and multiple ones on his body which appeared pale.

"-eku? Izuku!"

He flinched.

"Kacchan-"

The blonde had a frown on his face and brows narrowed.

"The fuck where you thinking about?"

The greenette gave the blonde a smile and replied,

"Nothing important."

The blonde scoffed,

"I'm your damn husband nerd, I know you."

He then extended his hand for Izuku to hold it,

"What will they think of me Kacchan?"

"That you're a strong hero."

"I failed kacchan. I failed."

"You didn't. You came out perfectly fine, caught the damn bastard and taught him a lesson."

"But I couldn't protect them. The little children were hoping for me to save them. An entire Island was rooting for me. You were rooting for me."

Izuku murmured the last part so slowly. Katsuki cupped his husband's face in his hand and kissed him. Izuku ofcourse returned the favour.

"You didn't fail Izuku. Nobody absolutely no one could've known that the bastard would do that. Our missions can't always go as we want but we need to keep steady. Ya' know who taught me that? You. You caught that piece of shit and saved many others who could've been harmed. You did exactly what any hero would do in that situation."

At this point the greenette couldn't hold back his tears and started sobbing, burying his face in Katsuki's neck.

"I- I love you so damn much Kacchan."

Katsuki soothed him and replied,

"Me too nerd, me too."

Izuku and Katsuki got married when they came back from their conjoined mission. It was so dangerous that both of them almost died. Katsuki took a hit to the head so he was in a coma for a week. That really fucked up Izuku and he realised how much he needed the blonde. The moment the blonde got up Izuku hugged him, kissed him and asked him to spend the rest of his life with him.
