having so many eve thoughts lately oops

so uh. something ive been ruminating on is the idea that while shes fully aware of how wrong and fucked up the scientists' treatment of her was she still struggles to view herself as a person and ends up reenacting those unhealthy behaviour patterns installed into her with her sacrifice at end of the vinyl city arc. even if its her choice this time at least, in the end, she still sacrifices herself for other people

(honestly eve is such an interesting character (at least in gw) and it will never stop annoying me how both canon and fanon flatten her into this "smol innocent bean uwu")
