"Hello mom?" I started the conversation.
"Where are you dear? I and your dad, we're here at our house but manong Ryan told me you will be late." May kunting lungkot sa boses niya, I need to go home my mom just back here from Italy. "Is it true."
"Yes mom, but I'll be home right now you didn't even told me that you and dad will come home." Nag-usap pa kami hanggang sa napag desisyonan ko nang patayin ang tawag.
"Mom I'll hung up na po para maka uwe naako."
Sabi ko sa kabilang linya.
I was about to open the door to exit but someone drag me and pinned me on the wall, medyo masakit. I saw Althea's face raging,what!! She loook so furious,is she and Kyle just got into a fight?
Kumawala ako kay Althea and fixed my her.
" What the fuck are you doin?" I asked her?
"What do you want?" dugtong ko.
"I want you to avoid Kyle, starting now on" sabi niya ng walang imosyon.
"Why would I? I'm his best friend." Iritadong sabi ko.
"And I'm his girlfriend." Okay its hurt me, she laughed sarcastically like stupid when she see my face. "Bye." She said and left the comfort room and me.
When I finally reach our table wala akong nakita ni isa sa kanilang dalawa, pag lingon ko ay nakita ko si Kyle na pinag buksan ng pinto ng kaniyang kotse at inalalayan ito. I just look at them drove away.
I'm here outside of this Cafe waiting for a cab but I don't see at least one cab, suddenly one car stopped infront of me. Bumukas ang kabilang pinto nito at tumambad sakin si Shan dala ang kaniyang ngiti.
"Hi Rein, why are you here?" He asked
"Kyle, Althea and I just hung out and napadpad dito sa Cafe." I laughed.
"Then, where are they?" I don't know what to answer but instead I Just smiled. "Tinatanong kita, hindi ako nanghihingi ng smile mo ikiss kita dyan eh." I laughed and tinapik siya sa balikat. I felt my heavy breath kanina ay nawala.
" Di ko alam Shan." Sagot ko.
"Pauwe kana ba? Hatid na kita?" Its 7:30 pm napala? Napatanong ako sa sarili.
" Okay thanks Shan." I said from my heart. Amd smiled. " Swerte ng magiging girlfriend mo Shan." Biglaan kong sabi.
"Swerte mo." He said and chukled.
Naging mabilis lang ang byahe namin dahil hindi naman ito kalayo. I thanked Shan for his kindness and leaved a hug for goodbye.
"Sauulitin." Sigaw niya at pinaharurut ang kotse.
I reach my phone to cheek my Instagram but realized it power off. Putik talaga oh!! Low batterry!! Instead na mag dabog dahil lang dito ay mabilis kung kinuha ans charger at nag charge na nga. Tomorrow is sunday, my mom,dad and I have a plan and we're going to boracay tapos uuwe sa moday siguro ay a-absent nalang ako sa umaga. I want to give time to my parents they're special to that I would risk my life for them. Inaantok na ako and I dozed off.
Pag kagising ko ay may nakahanda ng luggage at I know who did this, thanks to mom she's the best. Kinuha ko yung cellphone ko na fully charged na I open it and my eyes wide when I saw Kyle has 93 missed call and 78 messages.
Patay ako nito.
From Kyle: where are you Rein?
From Kyle: nakauwe ka na?
From Kyle: hey I'm getting worried.
From Kyle: Did you eat na?
From Kyle: Can I call you tomorrow?
From Kyle: I'm sorry.
From Kyle: I came to your house to check if you are there and I saw you inside Shan's car hugging him.
From Kyle: I left you in Cafe I'm really sorry. Accept my apologies.
Pinatay konalang yung Cellphone ko para dina masira ang araw ko. Bumaba na ako to eat my breakfast I saw mom and immediately hug her and he hug me back.
"Mom where's dad?" I started.
"He's in the balcony." Sabay turo kay papa na nag kakape habang nag babasa ng newspaper.
We're now her in Boracay and I took a photo and video to post it on my Instagram. And my phone vibrate kasabay non nang pag litaw ng pangalan ni Kyle.
From Kyle: Where are you Rein?
Napairap ako sa text niya. Isn't it obvious na andito ako ngayon sa Boracay? Or he just making a move to talk to me, miss na niya ata ako. I shook my head ano batong pinag iisip ko eh may nobya na si Kyle.
The scenery of Boracay is unexplainable.
"Mom can I go now? I want to swim." Nag paalam ako kay mommy baka kase hanapin niya ako and mom just nodded.
Kahit tangahaling tapat ay napag isipan kong mag lakadlakad, maraming napapatingin sa gawi ko I wore black less bikini and I wore sunglasses too. I want to unwind, I want peace for a while. I heard a familiar voice, tinignan ko ito and I saw Kyle and Althea they're laughing while walking, ang saya naman nilang tingnan. Nagising ang diwa ko ng may nag lahad ng Kamay sa harap ko.
"Hi beautiful." Handsome,tall and moreno guy said with a smile in his mouth. And I smiled back, I don't want to be rude.
"Hi." Tinanggap ko yung kamay niya.
"If tou don't mind I'll join you walking." He suggested "kung hindi lang naman."
"Hindi nga kita kilala eh."
"Oh sorry, by the way I'm Luke." He introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you Luke, I'm Kalea Rein."
"Tara." Sumabay nalang ako sa malalaking hakbang ni Luke,at makipag usap upang mawala sa isipan ko ang dalawa si Kyle at ang nobya niya. But I was enjoying with Luke,his talkative and goodlooking he even tell me his story about his recent relationship.
Luke is just a stranger that make me feel the presence of Boracay, how I wish I was with kyle to feel the unexplainable feelings and view of this place...how can I enjoy my vacation when I saw my man, my best friend with another girl having good time that I wish I was her. Sayang yung sunset hindi ako ang kasama ni Kyle para panoorin ang pagbagsak nito.
But in another hand I felt guilty, I was thinking about Kyle while there is one person who truly love me, it was Shan.
