Chp. 6

Chrissy

After everything happened with Rayquan last week, I decided to have a 'me' day. I pulled into the spacious parking lot of the Riverdale Mall. I tried to park near the door but that was a failed plan. Its always packed. I settled for a spot about 10 rows away from the door.

I walked swiftly through the parking lot and into the building. I didn't want to be bothered by any body trying to get at me, so I put my headphones in and turned on my favorite Beyoncé playlist. I strolled into my favorite store and immediately went to the racks.

As I was looking through the racks of my favorite clothing, stacking up the items, I heard deep laughter behind me. I paid it no mind and turned my music up louder. After about 30 minutes in the store I was finally getting to the register.

"Okay, ma'am your total is 249 dollars and 69 cents." the cashier said with a smile. I was not expecting to spend that much, after this I'm getting something to eat and going home.

I proceeded to look in my purse for the money, so lost in my thoughts I didn't realize she was already handing me a receipt and my change.

I laughed to myself, "Uhm, I didn't give you any money yet."

"Oh a gentlemen paid for it when you weren't looking." she told me.

I was confused but I left it at that. I walked to my favorite restaurant that was located in the mall. Five Guys. After I got my food I sat at a table small enough to accompany just me.

"That's a big ass burger and a lot of fries just for you." the voice made my body shiver. The persons lips landed right on the spot where my faded hickey was. "Remember that?" he asked me.

I nodded yes. With that memory replaying in my head I already knew who it was.

"C'mon, lets go somewhere less crowded." With that we left.

{ Three Months Later }

Layla

"Bae, come zip me up." I told Travis. All four of us were in a dressing room trying on graduation dresses. Me, Travis, Chrissy and Rayquan. About two months ago Armoney eventually fell off the face of the Earth and left me alone. Probably because his babymama didn't want him talking to me.

Travis and I got back together once he realized I was telling the truth. And somethings up with Chriss-

"Ahhhhhhh!" Chrissy screamed. "I'm not going to graduate, I can't fit no dresses."

"Maybe you shouldn't be eating so much." I suggested.

"Yeah like its the food." Rayquan laughed, dapping Travis altogether. Nasty asses.

"Shutup, but just get a bigger size." I tried telling her. "How are you a former track star but getting out of shape?"

"I don't know I'll ask the doctor when I see him tomorrow, maybe I'm bloated." she said.

"Mhn, maybe."

After dress shopping we went to get something to eat and head home, I picked out my dress, Chrissy didn't she wanted to see why she was gaining to much weight first. Even her face was a little chunky.

"Um Hi, can I have two mcChicken sandwhiches, a large fry and a HiC?" I said placing my order at McDonalds.

" Uh yeah let me get a Big Mac with no pickles and a dr.pepper?" Travis told the young man. We both grabbed our food and waited for Chrissy and Rayquan to place their order.  Me and Travis talked until something caught my ear. It was Chrissy telling the cashier what she wanted.
