Chrissy
I woke up to the smell of cooking bacon. And I already knew who was making it. Dad. I hurried out of bed and into my bathroom. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I grabbed my robe. After putting it on I walked downstairs.
"Hey baby girl, breakfasts almost ready gon' head and sit down til its done." my dad said greeting me. I greeted him back and kissed his cheek before walking into the living room and propping my feet up.
Shortly after my mom walked in. "morning baby before you get comfortable go wake your sister up." I groaned in fustration. She can never wake up on her own.
"Mom everybody else wakes up on their own why can't she?" I whined.
"Go do what your mama said baby girl." my dad intervened.
"Fine." I mumbled as I walked up the stairs and headed in the direction of Lay's room. Once I opened the door I found her sprawled out on her bed with her mouth open, slobbering. I walked over to the bed and shoved her. No response. I told her to wake up twice, no response. Finally I just hit her causing her to jump out of her sleep.
"Whaaatttt." she growled.
"Get up." I told her. She responded by telling me to leave her alone and turning on her side to continue her sleep.
I yanked the covers off of her, "Hey it ain't my fault you stayed up all night talking to Armoney, now get up." Armoney is Lay's boyfriend. Whom I don't like, he just isn't right for her. They are the true definition of a breakup to makeup couple. He cheats on her, does her wrong but they're still together.
"Shutup I'll be down in a minute." That was enough for me to leave, that food was calling my name.
Layla
After being rudely interrupted out of my sleep I just decided to get myself ready for school instead of making two trips up and down the stairs, I'll just make one. After handling my bathroom business, I put on my outfit, which consisted of a pair of ripped skinny jeans, an all black half shirt, and my all black nikes with a few gold accessories.
"Layla," I heard my dad yell. "Hurry down here and say goodbye to your mother and I."
"Here I come." I yelled back. I grabbed my purse and looked over my outfit one last time before heading downstairs.
"Well don't you look cute?" I heard my mother say once I reached the bottom of the stairs. I cracked a smile before my dad ruined the moment.
"Bet not be looking cute for no boy I know that." I simply said nothing and kissed my dad and mom on the cheek and they left.
"If only dad knew." My sister said as we got into her 2012 Camaro. I had my own car it just didn't make since to waste money on gas.
"Don't act so innocent miss soon to be married to my bestfriend." I shot back at her.
"Whatever." she laughed.
Once we arrived at school we pulled up a few spots away from my baby. As soon as I saw him I got instantly happy.
"Damn Lay you finna break yo neck tryna get to that fool." Chrissy said referring to Armoney.
"Shutup my babydaddy ain't no fool." We both busted out laughing. As soon as I got in jumping reach of Armoney I was all over him.
"Wassup baby, Hey Chrissy."
"Ew let me leave for I catch slap a nigga itis, bye Lay." she said before walking off.
Once I settled down he spoke again. But everything he said I couldn't comprehend because I was to busy looking at him. Armoney was a tall, brownskin beauty with perfect teeth. He resembled an older, muscular Trevor Jackson.
