Chapter 26

Ashley and Colby crashed into bed that night, happy that they had a real home to stay in.

It was hard not to snuggle into each other after spending so much time together. Jenny fell asleep cuddled against Colby's chest, and he carried her to the playpen and tucked her in.
He climbed into bed beside Ashley and pulled her in close to him.
"That was fun today," he whispered.
"Yeah. It was," she agreed. "I don't want it to end though..."
"We'll be fine," Colby reassured her. "I'll be walking in a day or two."

"It's good to know that as dangerous as the world is now, there are still nice people like Maggie and Bear. That makes everything a little bit brighter." Ashley smiled, nuzzling her cheek against his shoulder.
"Tell me about your family...the ones you're looking for," Ashley murmured.

"My sister's name is Kelly. She was six the night we were separated. My older brother's name is Zach; he was seventeen. We played basketball together all the time; he wanted to join the military like my dad. My mom's name is Carol and she made the best rice krispie treats."

"Hmmm...if we find them, do you think we'll stay with them or keep going to Jackson?"
"Jackson. At least we'll get fed there. Maybe I'll even get some work. I wouldn't mind living a normal life for once."
Ashley smiled sleepily, turning over in Colby's arms. She kissed his mouth, a few rocks that quickly became more heated. Her tongue ran across his bottom lip invitingly, her hands fisting in his T-shirt. A deep moan rumbled from Colby's throat and he pulled her closer, deepening the kiss.
Colby broke the kiss suddenly, breathing heavily.
"Colby...I really want to do this...but I can't get pregnant if we're traveling."
"How about I just give you a taste?" he teased.
"If that's what you want to do, then go ahead," she smirked. He leaned over her slowly, kissing her gently.
"Just relax. I won't hurt you," he whispered. His lips trailed down her neck slowly, pulling her t-shirt off and cupping her breasts through her bra. Ashley moaned quietly. He pressed kisses against her collarbone, trailing lower down her stomach, pausing at the waistband of her pants. Ashley's breath caught. Colby lowered his head slowly and began sucking the skin of her stomach. She felt her hips arch slightly upward. A sharp inhale escaped from her. He didn't seem to notice; his hands roamed over her body, making her shudder every time he touched her. She couldn't tell what she was feeling anymore. It could be arousal or nerves or excitement or both. But whatever it was it felt amazing.
He eased off her underwear, stroking her cleft gently. Ashley's body tensed at the unfamiliar touch; she had never felt anything like this.
"Are you ok?" Colby asked, worried.
Her eyes drifted closed. Ashley nodded hesitantly. "Please." She murmured.
He circled her nub softly, causing Ashley to gasp.
"That feels good." She breathed. Colby smiled as he continued exploring her. Ashley moaned, writhing under his touch. He chuckled lightly, continuing his teasing with slow deliberate strokes. Her body trembled uncontrollably beneath him. He stopped moving his hand and dipped his head.
Yes please kiss me there...

"More!" she pleaded.
"Okay," he breathed, his voice husky. Ashley cried out in pleasure and clutched his hair tightly.
"You like that, baby girl?" he asked seductively.
"Mmm...oh God yes!" she moaned, her back arching off of the mattress.
"Come for me..." he breathed. She gripped his hair tighter as the orgasm hit her. Ash groaned, falling back against the pillows and panting. Colby kissed her stomach tenderly, her skin flushing red.

He replaced her underwear, pulling a blanket over them. Ashley moved over and cuddled into his chest, laying her head on top of his heart, listening to it beat steadily. After a long while, her eyes grew heavy and she began drifting away. He pressed kisses to the top of her head, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and tugging the blankets up over their bodies. They could hear Jenny moving in her sleep and the sounds of the woods outside the cabin walls. He sighed happily, burying his nose into her curls. Sleep finally overtook them, blissfully unaware of the horrors they would face.
