Cobra Kai: No Mercy

War Wages On

Ok Sam deep breaths, you got this.

"Bow to me, now bow to each other".  The ref began as he raised his hand in the air to signal the start of the fight, "FIGHT!"

The match Sam had been preparing for ever since what happened at school.  It was her and Tory but this time the All Valley was on the line, her own dojo and pride were on the line.  Her Father's legacy was on the line.

"Point, Nichols!"  Just like that Tory had gotten the upper hand and the fight had just started.  "Damnit Sam,  she's too deep in her own head."  Daniel whispered to himself as the rest of Myagi Do looked on the battle worried.  "Sam, remember get out of your own head and fight like I know you can!  Don't let her dictate the fight, fight your own fight!"

Sam turned her head and gave Daniel a nod.  Just as round 2 began, it quickly ended.  "Point, 2-0 Nichols!"  Sam looked down at her ground and winced as Tory had swiped her legs out and gave one swift punch in the arm.  She got up and tried shaking it off.

"LaRusso, tell your daughter to strike.  Defense hasn't been working it's worth a shot she needs to go on the offensive."  Johnny reasoned with Daniel.  Daniel was with this idea and Sam heard as they both made eye contact and gave each other a final nod to make it official.  Sam was going to go on the offensive this time.

"Point, LaRusso!"

"Point, LaRusso!"  The crowd had gone mad.  The most anticipated matchup of the tournament had been playing out like everyone thought it would.  Sam had stormed back and she could see the crowd going crazy.   She's never seen so many people cheer for her before it was surreal.  She quickly caught eyes with the boy from school, Marik.  She couldn't help but notice his darker colored eyes.  This made her heart race even more as she looked back down and prepared for the next round.

"Fight!"  It was on. 

"Hey LaRusso, it was a fun fight while it lasted.  But we both know you never had it in you to compete with me in the first place."  Tory snarled at Sam before beginning her onslaught.  They went blow for blow and block for block.  All it would take would be one mistake from somebody.  They put on an ALMOST flawless exhibition before that one person would make a mistake.

"Point, Winner!" 

The crowd went ballistic.  "Oh wow unbelievable, despite coming back down 2-0 it wasn't enough for Sam LaRusso to overcome Tory Nichols!  Tory Nichols will advance to the finals!  Cobra Kai went mad as they celebrated their fighter making the finals.  There were still 2 more matchups to decide who she would face in the championship match.  The first of which would begin and end just as fast. 

"Just like that, Marik Ashford has defeated the defending champion Hawk in a 3-0 contest, if you can even call it that!"  The announcer shouted as the crowd was stunned by the newcomer.  The match was anticlimactic and Hawk trash talked his way into the walk of shame off the mat.

"Damn."  Was all Miguel could say to him and Johnny looked back on with nothing else to add.  He was in as much disbelief as Daniel was.  "Eli you're good bro just uh take it easy man."  Hawk was pissed and sad all he could do was just walk back into the locker room and said nothing to anybody.  "Sensei, how are we supposed to beat Cobra Kai, they have to be cheating or something!"  Miguel expressed his concerns to Johnny.

"There was nothing dirty about that.  That might've been the cleanest fight I've seen.  Hawk got his ass beat fair and square.  He let his emotions get the best of him and that's when he struck.  You're all winners until you're not anymore.  Hopefully he learned his lesson from this one, not that learning lessons is our current goal."  Johnny said almost breathless of Marik's display.  They made brief eye contact and Marik gave a sly grin as he turned his eyes toward back to his own sensei.

"You really are something else kid."  Kreese put his hand on Marik's shoulder before Marik quickly pulled away.  "Heh ok ok you'll need that fire in you if you want to win the championship I like it."  Marik's eyes burned as he stared down Kreese.  He had no respect for the man because deep down he knew Kreese had no respect for him and he didn't need anybody's respect.  He just needed his money so that he can help his mom.  "I'd recommend you try to play nicer.  By the way your old Sensei is dropping by later."

Sensei Silver is coming?  Why would Silver be coming back to Cobra Kai?  What does that power hungry fiend want now?

"Next up, Robby Keene of Cobra Kai vs Miguel Diaz of Myagi- yea I don't care."
