After tossing and turning, i Finnally gave up of trying to go back to sleep. I look at my phone and the time says 4:00 Am.

I scroll through my phone before realizing no one is awake and I just shut off my phone.

I looked around the room to see if anyone was up and not on their phone.

I saw pansy sprawled out on her bed, laying with someone.

I couldn't tell who she was laying with but it didn't matter. I look over to Adriana and she was sleeping by herself, but nonetheless asleep.

So I quietly crept out of my bed towards the door, trying not to wake anyone and using my phone flashlight so I don't trip on anything.

On my way out I grabbed a pack of cigarettes I had hidden under my bed and left the room.

I turned off my flashlight and walked out of the dorms to the common room.

Thankfully no one else was in there and I kept walking until I reached the stairs to the astronomy tower.

I slowly made my way up the creepy stairs, not to draw attention to myself or maybe alert a prefect.

I reached the top and walked towards the railing, sitting down and putting my legs between the bars so they're dangling off the edge.

I pulled out a cigarette, lighting it and taking a couple drags. I would always come up here when I couldn't sleep.

For some reason seeing the stars always calms me down and smoking calms me even more. The silence was very comforting and I loved being alone on nights like these.

Apparently the universe had other plans for me because my head shot to the stairs creeking slightly.

There's no way I made to much noice coming up here, I was extra careful and not even one stair made noice.

I buried my head in my hand, trying to think of my next move. My thinking was interrupted by someone clearing their throat.

"I know it's past curfew I'll go back to my dorm immediately." I said, not looking to who was there and just throwing my cigarette off the tower and standing up.

"Leaving so soon?" I heard an almost familiar voice say.

I turn my head around to see who said it and to my surprise it was not other than the Riddle boy who has a staring problem. "You scared me half to death."

I said almost angry. "And I waisted my cigarette thinking I was about to get caught by filch." You said looking back to where you were sitting.

"Well I have plenty." Mattheo said as he walked towards the edge, standing next to you and reaching in his pockets to pull out a cigarette.

"Do you have a light?" He asked. "Yeah, you can just use your wand." I said and pulled out my wand as he brought the cigarette to his lips.

"Incendo" I said quietly as i lit the cigarette, Mattheo looking at me as he took a long drag and passed it to me.

I took a drag as he started to speak "So why are you up here, it's late shouldn't you be sleeping?"

I exhaled the smoke and said "I could ask you the same question. But I couldn't sleep."

He took the cigarette back and said "yeah me either, big new school isn't exactly comforting, and I share my dorm with Draco. Who will not stop snoring."

I laughed quietly and responded "yeah imagine sharing a room with that git, took up all the space. And he was a fat ass baby."

Mattheo smiled before you sat back down like you were before.
