In the training area, the camera sees a group of ninjas sparing against one another as they wear advanced ninja gear and weapons.
The first ninja that is fighting a grey and blue ninja is Kai Smith, the Elemental Master of Fire and called the fire ninja, Nya's older brother and hotheaded, but loyal ninja of the group.

He has a great desire to protect his friends and family as hot as his temper. Kai was once a blacksmith in a shop as his and Nya's parents vanished by the time twins. When they were older and Master Wu came along into his life, he wanted to protect his sister when the skeleton army captured her.
When he saved her and become a guardian of Ninjago, Kai and his team discovered a Prophecy of the Green Ninja, which made him think he is the Green Ninja until he learned that his training was not to be the Green Ninja, but to protect them. When he discovered who is the Green Ninja, he considered him like a sibling figure.
Kai grinned at the grey ninja when he lay a hit on her. "You might as well give up now, sis. I am going to wipe the floor with you."
"I would like to see you try." Kai's sister said as she does a spin kick at his face, but the red ninja landed on his feet but was sent to the ground by a blue ninja with brown hair.
