(In this short, it's taken place before Cobra Venom as it will mainly focus on Clara and Soldier. Enjoy the short! Created by BattleDroid1106 )

Outside of the base...

3rd Person

Clara is unsure about the recent addition to MD-5. And that person is...

"...if fighting were to result in victory, then you must fight!"

Soldier... the odd and crazy patriotic drone of MD-5. Clara stood on the sidelines, watching the Soldier "drill" the recruits. The recruits were severed murder drone heads perched on fence posts, and she and everyone else watched from the sidelines in a series of disgust and wonder: disgust because of the severed heads of the Drones; wonder, why the Soldier kept these things in the first place?

Since Soldier joined MD-5, his actions have added an interesting dynamic. While his patriotism and love for his country are commendable, his constant singing of its praises can be exhausting for the rest of MD-5. As for his questionable decisions, they often wonder how he manages to survive, let alone take down Murder Drones.

Still, the group watches as the Soldier pauses and then says to the 'recruits' "Sun Tzu said that! And I say he knows much more about fighting than you do, pal because he invented it!" He says to the severed heads after he poked the helmets in emphasis.

Everyone naturally has mixed reactions to Soldier's odd antics. Mostly negative as they see this kind of behavior as too insane or crazy, but some were not too bothered by the odd drills he's performing to the 'recruits' since they, at some point, did more gruesome or insane stunts before—those being Violet and Nile.

Clara ignores their words and puts her focus on the Patriotic. While the group gives their honest opinion on the Soldier's insanity, she remains neutral on the whole thing. Sure, it's very uncomfortable for her to see how Soldier is giving a speech to a bunch of heads of her kind, but she can't be curious about him.

"I say we get in the bunker and leave Crazy Army Guy with his so-called Drills," Violet suggests to the group, which is immediately agreed upon as the Soldier's horrific does disturb them or just unamused them, especially to squeamish members of the group. Seeing it firsthand is a different experience, especially with said Worker Drone, who seems so casual talking to a bunch of heads.

"Better than just watching the maniac talking to a bunch of heads like it's normal." Glitch agreed as he left with the others, saying they had something better to do than watch Soldier.

As the rest of the group leaves Soldier with his drills, Clara remains behind to watch him continue his antics. Jenny notices this and asks, "Clara, are you coming?"

She said nothing for a bit, as her eyes were on the Soldier before looking back at Jenny.

"...I'll catch up."

Jenny looks at her friend, confused, before shrugging and leaving Clara alone to watch Soldier with his so-called drills.

The soldier drone pulls two grenades, "...Then he uses his fight money to buy every animal on the planet! Then he brought them into a boat and beat the crap out of every single one!" He says that after mimicking the grenades in a walking motion, he bashes them together.

Unlike the rest of the group, she's honestly curious about how Soldier came to be. Sure, his antics can be annoying to understand, but she wants to know how Soldier became this jingoistic maniac on his team.

A worker drone dressed in a Red WW2 American uniform fights and hunts down a disassembly drone, which interests her. She had never heard of Worker Drones attempting to fight back against her kind before, though she did hear from Violet that there were times Worker Drones did try to fight back. However, they were very pathetic attempts, and most failed and died.
