Chapter 4

Daniela POV

I could just melt when he looked in my eyes, I could of just kissed him right there but of course my stupid head told me no...he's gonna break your heart, which is gonna lead to more scars over your arms. I quickly hid my arms behind my back and smiled at him. He looked at me confused, "Are you okay...?" I could hear the concern in his voice. "I'm fine." I said those words almost everyday, it pained me to lie to him but I had too.

I walked into the arena with Ace and we both looked at each other and then back into the arena. It. Was. Huge! I swear you could of taught two classes in here! We waited around for everyone else to get here and talked to each other sharing our interests. I found out we both love the outdoors and that we both had the same favorite color, red. Just like all my school classes, this was just an introduction to what our teacher is expecting. I didn't even get to mount Dex once! So I just tacked him up for nothing...great.

I untacked Dex and groomed him, he looked at me with those soft big brown eyes. "I'm sorry boy, I thought we were gonna ride today." I gave him food and water and put him in his stall. I walked but to my dorm room and flopped on the couch staring at the ceiling. I heard my phone go off, I looked at it and I had a text from Ace.

Hey Dani, there's a bonfire tonight at the beach and I was wondering if u wanted to go with me? Btw just as friends. ~Ace (:

The "just as friends" broke my heart but I quickly answered back.

Yah! Sounds like fun.

Cool! Pick you up around 6:15 ~Ace

I looked at the clock and screamed. Only an hour to get ready!! I quickly got up from the couch and looked through my drawers for the perfect bikini. I finally found it, it was black and the top was strapless. I quickly changed and let my hair down and parted it how I always did, I put some make up on too. I put a black crop top on, and paired it with my jean short shorts. I grabbed my red flannel shirt and put my black flip flops on. I kept checking myself in the mirror when I heard a knock on my door.
