It was their agreement. 32 hours of silence from their last contact, they'd pack a bag of essentials—Rosa had already readied one for the teen girl—and head to the second to last safe house on the list, the brunette had written for them. And in 6 days, they'd regroup and prepare to leave.
Rosa hated how familiar her baby sister, Kelya, was with this routine. She never wished for her to get caught up in her life in any way, and yet the 17 year old had, much to Rosa's dismay, grown accustomed to the way what their lives had became.
But this was different, they wouldn't need to hide anymore. In only an hour, they'd all be free. Rosa would make sure her sister could live the future she wanted, it was the least she could do to make up for all the lonely days and sleepless nights.
It was agreed upon, long before Vince's unfortunate demise, once Brian and Dom secured the vault and trekked through the city streets, that Rosa would use the chance to retrieve her sister. This way, moving the money and leaving the country was much smoother. And after all the troubles they've gone through, she needed simple and easy.
