"I can't believe they stole a 70-ton tank for a three-ounce computer chip." Exclaimed the General in complete disbelief.
"That 3-ounce computer chip is more deadly than 1,000 of those tank." Hobbs retorted, his hands perched on his hips.
Rosa ran a hand down her face, rubbing the back of her neck. The suffocating atmosphere of the military base prevented her from truly basking in their glory. They'd apprehended Shaw and his team, rescued Letty, got the stolen chip and they all made it back safe and sound.
But, something felt off. She couldn't help but wonder when the other shoe would drop.
"What about her?" The General asked, glaring at Letty, who sat on top of the stairs, lost in her thoughts.
The moment the military man took a step towards the latino woman, Dom rushed to his feet. "Not her." He, alongside Brian and his team, stood protectively in front of Letty.
The General glanced at Dom. "She was working with Shaw." He reasoned.
"Was, but she's always been one of us." Dom corrected, refusing to back down.
