Chapter 3: Underwater Exploration, baby!
N and Gemstone stared into the inky water for a few seconds, with the two boys trying to figure out what had happened to Uzi.
But then, N jumped into the water.
Gemmy gaped larger, if that was even possible, as his mouth had already been as large as Totoro.
Then, he dashed downstairs.
Cthulhu had now gone underwater, and looked like it wouldn't be coming back.
"JADE! JADE!" Screamed Gemstone, dashing into the eating quarters.
Jade was scrolling on her phone, probably playing the dinosaur no wifi game.
"What, wuss?"
"Uzi... N... Overboard..."
Jade raised her eyebrows in shock.
"WHAT."
"We... Need... To... Save... Them..."
Jade, with half a sandwich in her mouth, pushed a button that made a large creaking noise.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH" and
"OOOOEOOEOEOOHHRRR"
were plenty in this weird transformation.
Gemmy then stood up ten seconds later, being completely submerged underwater.
He was still inside of the ship, but it had gone underwater.
"Um, Jade, what is going down?"
"We're underwater, duh."
"We-we need to find N and Uzi."
"Yeah."
"You are the coolest person I've met in my life." Said Gemmy.
"I know." Said Jade.
Then, they dashed underwater.
Soon, they reached some sort of chasm, where there seemed to be black ink surrounding the area, and echoes of screams so they decided to go into it, as they do.
Death.
That's all Gemmy felt as they entered the chasm.
Screams echoed around him, voices screaming, "LeAve."
"gEt OUt."
"wHy ArE yOU hErE?"
"bEwAre."
Then, one voice boomed over the rest.
"DIE."
Bam!
A huge eel the size of a skyscraper shot through the ravine, smashing into the side of the ship.
Red sirens started blaring.
Jade grunted, pulling the wheel up so they could escape the chasm.
When she failed to, she yelled, "Hold on to something!"
Gemmy held on to his stomach.
Bam!
Another hit.
Tumbling to the side, Gemmy reached for Uzi's railgun, which she had dropped while she had been captured by Cthulhu.
He fumbled for the trigger, then shot at one of the windows.
Crackle! BAM!
The bullet hit something.
Gemmy could hear the shriek of something, and the attacks ceased.
Gemmy breathed for the first time in 6 minutes.
Then he fell over, gasping for air.
Jade walked over, chuckling.
"Nice one, dude."
Gemmy turned red. Half from embarrassment and half from lack of air.
It was also the first time she hadn't called him a 'wuss.'
Gemmy hoped that would happen again. Frankly, he was getting quite sick of the nickname.
Then, before Gemmy could catch his breath fully, he heard it.
"HELP!"
It was distorted, sure, but that was quite easily the voice of N.
"Aight, maybe not so wuss, let's go see if you can save our friends now."
