"Look at you, you look like a child right now."

Jinyang gave him a look that said 'bitch what the fuck'

That man looked at the sweets and spoke.
"actually they were my favorite snacks when I was a child - and they still are." He said and then opened the package.

Jiyang gasped and looked at him at in disbelief.
Then he took one out and ate it.

"They taste good." He said and winked at Jiyang.

"I'm gonna kill you." Jiyang said staring at him coldly."

"Good luck with that cutie." The guy said smirking at him.

"Who are you calling a cutie? How old are you kid?"
Jiyang asked

"I'm 22 cutie."

"Look you're younger than me so show some respect!" Jiyang said arrogantly

"Whats your name?" The guy asked Jiyang

"Obviously not gonna tell you." He said crossing his arms.

"Oh is it Jiyang?"

Jiyangs eyed widened.
"How-"

"Your name tag." the guy said
Jiyang still had his name tag on from work.

"If you're interested my name is Haoxuan." He smiled.

"Hah i'm not interested so bye." He said and walked of but Haoxuan held his wrist.

Jiyang looked at him.
"At least give me your number."
He said looking deeply into Jiyangs eyes while still holding his wrist. Jiyang then jerked of his hand and walked away.

"Hard to get huh? Haoxuan said kinda loudly."

Yibo pov
"I want to go home now." I said
My eyes and cheeks were puffy.

Bowen looked at me while stroking my cheeks.
"Then let me drive you back home, okay?"
He asked me and I nodded.

I was putting my jacket on while sitting on the chair.
Then I saw Bowen walked towards me with my shoes in his hands.

He kneeled and took my feet.
"Hey what are you doing?" I asked him putting my feet away.

"Helping you wear your shoes." He said smiling at me. "Theres no need." I said laughing it out.

"alright then let's drive this big baby home."
He said while ruffling my hair.

We arrived at my home.
I stepped out of the car.
"Alright then thank you for driving me back home bowen." I said smiling shyly while looking at the ground.

"Always for you." He winked at me.
I opened the door and went in.

*Next day*
"I'm leaving now ma."

"Don't forget to eat something Yibo."
She said but I already had closed the door.

I stepped out of the house and saw a car infront of me. It was Bowen.

He stepped out of the car.
"Good morning Yibo."

"Oh Good morning." I said looking at the car that was behind him.

"I'm gonna drive you to the Cloud Recesses."

"Huh why? You don't have to."

He already opened the door for me.
I couldn't do anything or deny him because I knew it was not possible so I started laughing.

I got in the car.
"Don't do that again." I said

He raised his eyebrow
"Hm?"

"I mean, you don't have to drive me to work."
I said looking at him

"I want you to be safe."
He said and then he putted his Hand on my thigh.
I looked at his hand that was resting on my thigh and mumbled some words out. "I- uh Bowen."

"Just that you know I'm always here for you to protect you." He said and I nodded and bit my lips because I didn't know how to feel.

He started moving his hand more up till I moved and took his hands away. "Thank you for being here for me." I said giving him a unsure smile.

"You kinda..look a bit worried. What's wrong?"

I sighed. "It's just-"
I couldn't continue speaking.
I knew my tears would come too.

"It's just I again couldn't pay the bills on time and I still have to pay the debts of." I said looking away from him.

"I could just pay for it." Bowen said

"No I don't want you to pay."

He then stroked my cheek
"Such a pretty boy like you shouldn't suffer this much."

I didn't know wherever to blush or to laugh
