Frozen to the Bone (Kaeya x Sans fanfiction)

Welcome to the City

Sans finally made it to Mondstat after a long journey, they had a few "slimes" and "hilichurls" here and there but they managed to get through all of it. They were on the bridge that led to the gates of Mondstat when Timmie stopped them.
"WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT UGLY THING? GET AWAY KAEYA, IT'S PROBABLY A MONSTER! KILL THAT THING!"
"Timmie, that's enough. Our little friend here is from... far away. Stop being rude and be open-minded, if not your father will never come back with the milk."
"SHUT UP KAEYA YOU WERE ABANDONED BY YOUR DAD TOO."
They stood there quietly for a moment that felt like forever. After a moment, Kaeya lifted up his arm as if to slap the kid. Timmy's eyes widened as Kaeya slowly lifted up his hand, frightened by what was to come next. He didn't stick around long enough to find out as he started running away, crying and yelling "MOMMY!" as he went back inside the gates of Mondstat to be comforted by his mother but saddened to leave his pigeons behind as they were his only friends. Kaeya wiped a single tear from his face and pouted angrily.
"Uhm, um... ignore that... Sans..."
He turns to sans, face beet red. He clears his throat and shines a smile at him.
"We should go in now, my boney companion."
Sans let out a small laugh and he followed Kaeya into the city. He got many many stares but Kaeya stood up for him. After a while, the sun began to set so Kaeya decided to take Sans to his apartment.
"Here, let's go to my place, sorry for all the trouble from the others, we've seen a lot of crazy things but... well let's not worry about that now, let us go to our destination."
He flashes a quick smile at Sans. Sans blushes a bit, had Kaeyas smile always been this charming? Sans nodded, too flustered to say anything to him. Sans had never been the easiest to charm but Kaeya managed to get him flustered without trying, just him being himself. After a little while of them walking through the town, they finally made it to Kaeya's apartment.
"Alright, we're here. Make yourself feel at home, well... as close as you can get from your world."
"Alright..."
Sans stands by the door and Kaeya, who was standing in front of Sans, slowly turns to face the inside of his home.
He walks past his kitchen and heads over to his living area, motioning Sans to follow him. "You can take the couch and feel free to roam around and get yourself something if you're hungry. I'll be heading out to get some groceries."
"Oh alright, if you want I could go with you."
"No don't worry about it my extraterrestrial friend, I'll be back in a bit, you should probably get some good rest, tomorrow we are going to do quite a few tasks. You, my friend, will be helping me with my knightly duties."
Sans nodded. Kaeya winked at him and headed out the door. Sans smiled stupidly. God what a handsome man he thought, I got really lucky to have been saved by him. He shakes his head as if to clear his thoughts. He sits down on the couch and relaxes, resting his head. He closes his eyes and he drifts off to sleep.
