The rebellion of the Bato and Ggachinol tribes was successfully suppressed thanks to Saya's strategy. The leaders will be executed before the people, while the members will be exiled with their legs cut off, while their family members will be made slaves. In fact, Tagon wanted to sentence them all to death, but Tanya, with all her compassion, opposed the death penalty, especially for rebel family members who were not directly involved, such as children and the elderly.
The night after the execution, Tagon threw a great party at the palace, inviting officials and nobles. Tagon hadn't arrived yet when Taealha arrived in the hall. At the front table there was only Saya sitting right to the right of the chair for the king.
"Excuse me, I think you have the wrong seat," said Taealha.
Saya showed her the name plaque placed on his desk. Taealha snorted in disbelief.
The hall door opened. All the guests bowed respectfully to Tagon who came with Tanya and Dangeom who was carried by the nanny. They immediately sat down in their respective places.
"My Queen, why are you still standing?" Tagon scolded, then patted the chair to his left.
Taealha's fists shook until her knuckles turned white. She suppressed her anger, sitting on the left of the king.
"Let's toast our victory!" Tagon raised his cup and everyone followed suit.

Once a month the Grand Temple routinely distributed food to adult slaves and children. Not only were slaves in Arthdal, they also sent them to construction and mining sites outside Arthdal, for example Doldambul. This time because there were additional slaves from the Bato and Ggachinol rebels and their families, food was added. Even though they are rebels, they are still humans.
A few days later, Tanya received a report that the ex-rebel slaves had all died of food poisoning given by the Grand Temple. The public who heard this began to think that the high priest's kindness was just an image.
"How could this happen? Who was cooking the food at that time?"
The servants who cooked that day were all questioned directly by Tanya.
"We cook as usual, we don't put in any dangerous ingredients, let alone poison. We also cook everything in one big cauldron. The food for them is the same as the food we give to other slaves."
The guards led by Yangcha searched all the rooms and the kitchen but found nothing suspicious.
"It is possible that the poison was administered while the food was on its way," Agaji argued.
Usually the temple servants directly distribute the food, but especially for ex-rebels, several guards from the main palace also deliver it for reasons of safety for the temple servants. In this case, Tanya suspects Tagon of wanting the rebels' families to be executed, thereby damaging Tanya's image in the eyes of the public.
But...
"Not me," answered Tagon when Tanya asked about this incident.
Of course Tanya didn't believe it.
"You may not believe it, because that was my wish from the start, to execute all those who oppose me, their wives, their parents, even their children and grandchildren. All three generations, without mercy. But this time it's not me. Whoever did it, I should thank them and give them a gift."
Tanya snorted in annoyance.
"The sin of rebellion is different from just murder or theft, Tanya. Those who have a different ideology from me will continue to fight me until I fall. This ideology can be inherited and there will be many new rebel seeds in the future if they are not eradicated at the root. I think I must impose the death penalty for three generations for rebels and traitors, so that it will be a lesson for others not dare to do so in the future."
