Amnesia

After wreaking havoc in Tanya's heart and mind, the man back unconscious.

"I'll report to Tagon Niruha," Yangcha rushed out, but suddenly Tanya held his hand.

"Do not!"

Yangcha glanced at Tanya's soft hand that was clasping his fingers. This girl never realized that every touch she gave to Yangcha would be bad for the man's heart.

"Stay outside. Don't let anyone in."

Yangcha nodded in obedience.

Tanya turned back to Saya--

Or Eunseom?

She had to confirm that first.

The man lying on the bed opened his eyes again when it was getting dark. His eyes fluttered around, and stopped at the beautiful woman who was looking at him with concern mixed with confusion.

Tanya is still staring at him intently, watching him carefully to make sure if this man is really Eunseom? If so, how come? Then where is Saya?

"Tanya..."

"Eun... seom?"

The man smiled wider.

"Are you really Eunseom?"

"As I remember I haven't changed my name. Yes, I'm Eunseom, who else?"

The man touched his own face which was wrapped in bandages, "Is my face broken? Can't you recognize me?"

"It is not like that..."

His hand moved to touch Tanya's face. Tanya flinched slightly at the touch but didn't reject it.

"But luckily you're okay, even prettier. They didn't hurt a fingernail or your nose."

Tanya flabbergasted. She held the hand that was still on her cheek, "Eunseom..."

Now she was absolutely sure. The girl dropped her head on Eunseom's chest, wetting the crook of his neck with her tears. Eunseom's hands hugged her tightly. He was crying too.

"Thank you...thank you for living and coming for me."

"I thank you too. Thank you for surviving."

“I don't think I can see you anymore,” Eunseom wipes the remaining tears on Tanya's cheeks who are lying on his side.

"When I heard you were sentenced to death in such a sadistic way, I thought I'd follow you too. I don't know how many times I've heard about your death. After a while I'm going crazy."

"But I'm still alive. I'm here now. You don't have to be afraid anymore. I'll get you out of here soon."

Tanya sighed, "the situation is not the same now. It used to be possible that you could take me away, but now I can't leave here even though I really want to."

"Why? Is it because now you are someone's wife?"

Tanya gasped until she jumped up from her lying position, "how... how did you know..."

"Why? Should I not know that my friend is married?"

Tanya lowered her gaze. There was guilt when she looked him in the eyes.

"Congratulations," said Eunseom.

Tanya was stunned.

"Congratulation for your wedding."

Tanya glanced at this man to see if his words were sincere or satire. But Eunseom didn't show any expression, only a faint smile on his lips.
