2 weeks later

I woke up to the sound of heavy breathing at the end of the bed. I opened my eyes and saw the shadow of a man standing at the end of our bed. I looked over to Hajime and then to Tooru. I realized they were still sleeping. I made my way out of bed and looked back at the sound of someone moving in the bed. "Ev? Where are going?" Hajime asked me groggily. "I'm just getting a glass of water" I said as I walked over and gave him a kiss. "Hurry back" he said as I smiled at him and nodded. "I will I promise" I said as I gave him one last kiss and then walked out of the bedroom. I closed the door behind me and let out a sigh. I was scared. I watched the figure walk down the stairs and I immediately followed after. "Why are you here?" I asked the figure. "Because I love them. I love them more than you could ever imagine" the figure said. The figure's voice sounded female. "You can love them without breaking in and scaring them" I said as the figure chuckled. It was extremely eerie.

"I tried, but they never notice me" the figure said as I slowly backed up to the knife block. "I wouldn't do that" the figure said as she pointed a gun on me. I immediately put my hands in the air. "Here's what I want you to do" she said as I nodded. "I want you to go back upstairs and go back to bed." She instructed as I nodded. "I will do that" I said as I walked away from the knife block. "You pull anything and the next time I see you will be the last time you'll see anybody" the figure said as I nodded. "Do you understand?" She asked as I nodded. "I understand" I said as she backed up. "Oh, one last thing" she said as I looked at her. Before I could ask her what she shot me in the shoulder. I screamed in pain as I fell to the floor. She walked over to me and stood over me as I writhed in pain. "Consider this a warning not to fuck with me" she said as she climbed out a window. I continued screaming as the boys rushed down the stairs to me.

"What the fuck happened" Tooru screeched as Hajime rushed over and scooped me up. "Tooru start the car! She's been shot at!" He yelled as Tooru grabbed his keys and ran out to the car. Hajime followed after him. He gently put me in the car before getting in himself and closing the door. "Go" Hajime stated coldly as Tooru hit the gas and sped to the hospital. I watched as Hajime removed his shirt and used it to apply pressure to the wound. "What happened?" Hajime demanded as I cried in pain. "I don't know! I saw someone in the room while you were sleeping and I followed them downstairs. They shot me and told me to consider it a warning" I said as he looked worriedly at me. "Fuck, it hurts" I said as he applied more pressure on my shoulder. "It is going to. How far from the hospital are we?" Hajime asked Tooru as he drove erratically. "Looks like I'm not such a bad driver after all" I joked weakly. "At least you're still laughing" Hajime said as Tooru nodded. "That's a good sign" Tooru said in agreement. It hit me, I'd been shot.

"Fuck" I cried out as Tooru stopped the car and Hajime rushed me from the car and into the Hospital. "Help! My girlfriend was shot!" Hajime screamed as the nurses rushed to us. "We need a gurney!" One of them yelled as a gurney was brought over and Hajime laid me down on it. "What's your name honey?" An older woman asked as I was rushed back. "Evanescence Kag-Kageyama" I stuttered as the pain shot through my body. "Are you aware that you have been shot?" A nurse asked me as I nodded. "Yes" I said as the shirt was replaced with gauze. "Fuck!" I yelled as the pressure was placed back on the wound. "We need to get you into surgery, from what we can tell you still have a bullet in your shoulder" a nurse said as I nodded. "Iwa, call Tobio" I said as he nodded. He just stood there eerily watching as I was rushed back to surgery. "You are going to be okay Evanescence" a doctor said as I nodded. "Call me Evan" I said as he nodded. "You are going to be alright Evan" he repeated as I smiled weakly at him.

I don't remember much after that, all I remember is waking up in a hospital room. I watched as Tooru and Hajime sat in chairs next to each other. Tooru's head was rested on Hajime's shoulder. I looked over and saw Tobio pacing the room. He was definitely worrried, maybe even a little agitated. "Hey" I said calmly as they all looked at me. "Hey, here, drink this" Hajime said as he helped me sit up and gave me a drink of water. His hand rested on the back of my shoulder. I winced at the pain. He quickly readjusted his hand. "How are you feeling?" Tobio asked as he walked over to the bed. "Like I was shot" I joked as I cracked a smile. He smiled softly back. "How long have I been out?" I asked them as they all looked at each other. "A week" Tooru said as my jaw dropped. "A week?" I asked rhetorically as they nodded. "Damn" I said as Tooru sat down on the bed next to me. "All that matters is that you are okay" Hajime said as I nodded. "Did they catch her?" I asked them as they look at me.
