"Come on! We are going to be late!" I yelled as I pulled my hair into a ponytail and started to put my shoes on. "I'm almost ready! I'm just trying to find my other shoe" Tooru stated as he found his shoe and pulled it on. "Hajime! Are you good to leave?" I asked him as he walked into the living room with a cup of coffee in his hand. "I've been ready" he said as I stood up and walked over to him. "Then let's go" I said as we filed out the door. Me and Tooru got into the car while Hajime locked the door behind us before getting into the drivers seat. "Do we have time to stop for a burger?" I asked him as he sighed. "Maybe after okay?" Hajime said as I nodded. "There's snacks in the console" he said as he lifted his arm so I could open it. "Fuck yeah!" I squealed as I took out a miniature pack of Oreos. "So good" I moaned as I shoved one into my mouth. "I looked over and saw Hajime smirking. "What?" I asked him. "Nothing" he said as his smirk turned into smiles.

We arrived at the clinic about 10 minutes later and we were able to go right back. "Hello!" The doctor said cheerily as I waved to her. "2 months already? It's going by fast" she said as I nodded. "Tell me about it" I said as I rolled up my shirt and she squirted the Gel on my stomach. "Baby is looking good, strong heartbeat" she said as I smiled. "I mean, they do come from a family of athletes" I said as she nodded. "You played a sport?" She asked as I shook my head. "No, but Tooru and Hajime played volleyball. In fact Tooru is a part of Japan's national team. And my brother plays too" I said as she nodded. "Maybe this baby will continue the tradition" she said as I nodded. "Maybe" I said as she wiped the gel off my stomach and I rolled down my shirt. "That's it. Susan my receptionist will help you schedule an appointment" she said as she walked out of the room. "I hope they love volleyball" Tooru said as he and Hajime helped me off the exam table. We scheduled our appointment and quickly headed out to the car.

"Let's go get my burger!" I said as we loaded into the car and drove off. "You and your burgers" Hajime said as he shook his head. We went to the drive thru before ultimately heading back to work. I rushed in ahead of them because I really had to pee. "Hey, how was your appointment?" Tobio asked as I walked out of the bathroom. I jumped since he scared the shit out of me. "Good, but can you not scare the shit out of me?" I asked him as he chuckled before nodding. "My bad" he said as I walked with him. "Aren't you supposed to be practicing?" I asked him as he smiled. "I have a 15 minute break" he said as I nodded. "And you chose to spend it talking with me?" I asked him playfully. "Believe it or not I actually like spending time with my sister" he said as I rolled my eyes. "Tobio! Practice" coach barked out. "That's my cue" he said as he kissed my forehead before running back into the gym. I worked for the next 4 hours uninterrupted. "Hey, ready to go?" Hajime asked as he knocked lightly on my doorframe.

"Yep, let me get my coat" I said as he grabbed it off the hook and helped me into it. "You look beautiful" Hajime said as he kissed me. "I know" I said as he chuckled. "Let's get out of here" he said as he grabbed my hand and we walked to the car. Tooru was already in the back seat. We got into the car and drove home. "My parents are in town" Hajime blurted out as I looked over at him. "They want to meet you" he said as I nodded. "When?" I asked him as he sighed. "Tonight" he said as I nodded. "I can do that" I said as he smiled. "They want to come to the house" he explained further. "I don't see why that's an issue" I said as Tooru looked terrified. "They aren't exactly the easiest people" he said as I nodded. "I see" I said as we pulled into our driveway. "They are very critical" Hajime added as we got out of the car. "I can handle it" I said as he unlocked the door and we walked inside. "I have no doubt about that" he said as he kissed my cheek.

About an hour later I heard another car pull into the driveway. "They're here!" I yelled as Hajime pulled the food out of the oven. "Perfect timing" he said as he sat it on the stove. "Wine ready?" Hajime asked as Tooru pulled it out of the fridge and grabbed 3 glasses. "Try not to mention the baby, I want to handle the first meeting before we drop that bombshell on them" Hajime said as I nodded. "The wine is ready by the way" I said as I went to open the door but they opened it first. "Hajime dear!" A woman cooed as she walked over to him, completely disregarding me. "Mom, this is Evan. My girlfriend" he said as she glanced over at me. I swore for a moment that she rolled her eyes. "It's good to meet you dear" she said in a fake cheery voice. "Likewise Mrs Iwaizumi" I said as she hugged me momentarily. "The food smells amazing" she said as I smiled. "Thanks, I actually cooked it" I said as she glanced at me. "We'll see if it tastes as good as it smells" she stated. I understood what Hajime meant by critical now.
