"The dance classes are going to take some more days to start but we can still hang out you know ....."
"So, this is our first date?"
Adam did not reply rather his cheeks became a brighter shade of red.
"Umm.....Do you want more sugar in your coffee?" his voice was trembling.
The place was nice, a bit outside of the city, peaceful and quite. They were sitting in an enormous place and the street was a bit far way. The perfect place for romantic people. Others seem to know it as well. As there were a few more couples except for them. Adam and Christine were not a couple yet! But everyone was hoping they'd become one!
Christine took a deep breath and smiled at him.
"I like the coffee the way it is. No need of sugar. Are you Okay? Stop stirring the spoon like that!"
Adam didn’t even make eye contact with her. Suddenly he felt shy! So much shy! If only he could run away from here. Who knew dating could be so much hectic! This was a horrible, horrible idea!
His hands were trembling too much. He thought may be smoking could stop his anxiety and then he remembered he didn’t smoke!
He tried to grab a glass of water as anxiety was making a headache for him but then he dropped the whole glass!
The result was a table totally wet, a broken glass and a classy Adam staring at Crisitine like a fool. What he was supposed to do he had no idea.
Cristine cracked a smile at him and suddenly she felt this deep, tender affection for him out of nowhere for the very first time!
