It was really early in the morning.
Adam opened his eyes because someone was calling him and he was surprise because it was no one other then Christine!
Christine requested Adam to go home and take rest, while she can stay in the hospital.
He to came back at night again.
Grandpa did not stop his babbling, except for the topic has changed a bit.
"Just get married already." the old man muttered to him.
"I will." he replied with frustration.
"I am going to leave anytime soon.who knows if i'll return home this time."
"You only came for a check up. Nothing serious."
"But you know i can have a heart attack at any moment."
"You always talk too much, whenever you come to hospital." adam felt irritated.
"Should not I talk to much?, I am an old man, what else should i do?"
It was morning, Christine was supposed to come to visit with other family members. And grandpa started again. His excessive talking was sometimes a huge pain for quite Adam!
"Yeah, grandpa, keep on talking, keep on burning my ears!"
"Well, you got something to do to stop me"
"What? Marry? I told you i will "
"Nah! Not that" he moved his head left and right.
"If this time i return home...."adam glared at him,
"You are taking a 7days leave from your job and bring that cutie with you!"
"What cutie!"
"That pretty girl who did so much for me. At first i thought she is kinda old for you,and i was hella annoyed with your choice, i mean look at you! You are just as much handsome as me,can any girl resist you?"
"This is why he is talking about my marriage so much!"
Adam rolled his eyes at the old man.
"But she is such an amazing girl! So caring and sweet! She must have been whole night awake in the wedding.she'd doze off and I'd even woke her up in the middle of the sleep and she was still smiling.I'd fell for her if i had the age!"
"Are you done talking?"
"Nah. Her face has this innocent glow, i've not seen something like this before. And that smile of her is enough to break any guy's heart!"
"Just yesterday i thought you did not like her!"
"Who would not like such a sweet girl! She is like spring time! And..."
"And?"
"Everytime she said, grandpa do you need anything, uh my heart!...."
"And?"adam said again.
"I mean yeah i am really old for a wife.but you young man,can just get me a grand daughter for me. Who would fly around my house like an angel,asking me grandpa do you need anything!."
"Christine and i are not dating. She is only my colleague."adam finally said with a grave face.
Grandpa made such a face he looked as if he really was having a heart attack!
