" he said smiling. His smile made it harder for you to tell him the news. " Ethan, you were my first actual boyfriend. It's been 2 since we started dating and these two years have been some of the best times in my whole life, " you said. He was still smiling, obviously he had no idea where you were going with this. You felt yourself about to break down any moment. " But this relashionship c-cant continue.." you said. You then bursted into tears. " Im so so so so so sorry Ethan. You didn't do anything at all to cause this decision, I just didn't feel the spark between us anymore. " you said in tears. His face had a blank expression. His mouth was gaped open but no words came out. " I promise, t-that there will always be a s-speacial place for you in my h-heart. You mean the world to me, you understood me, you backed me up, you made me laugh,you made me smile, you were my world, you were everything but, I cant anymore. I'm really sorry Ethan. I'm so... " you said. You couldn't continue after that so you just stood up and walked to your room. You felt so horrible. Youve been feeling this way about him for about 1 month. You felt horrible knowing he hadnt done anything possible to hurt you. He was always so cute kind and caring but, that spark just,.. Dissapered. You grabbed all your stuff and started packing. Obviously he was not gonna want anything with you after what you had done so you were moving of course. You then heard a knock on the door. It was Ethan. He walked in with tears in his eyes and tears rolling down his face. That hurt you even more since you felt horrible already. But it had to be done, if you told him later, he would have been more hurt. " y/n, I love you sooooo so much, and I will always, but if you just didnt feel anything anymore, I guess its best for both of us. I mean like they say, if you love something, you gotta let it go. I'm sorry it had to end like this, but i promise we could still be friends. I'm glad i got to make you happy while i had you. " he said. That made you feel even worse since seeing him cry was the worst thing ever and breaking his poor heart. You went up tp hug him, a friendly hug tho. " Im sorry Ethan " you mummbled into his shirt. You got your stuff and left. Leaving him out of your love life. You two remained best friends but it wasn't the same. You two slowly ended up going your separate ways...
