You sat on the hard wood floor scrolling through Twitter. Sighing as you read all the hate comments.
" ugly slut. I hate you "
" Ethan deserves way better than you "
" just die already "
Everything spun around in your head. You felt a tear slip down your cheek. You sighed
" No use.. " you mumbled wiping it away and turning off your phone. You sat on the couch and thought for a moment.
You heard the door unlock and open.
" Hey gorgeous " you heard Ethan say as he walked towards you. You shut your eyes and took a deep breath and turned to him seeing him with a smile as he leaned in. You stopped him and breathed out.
" I'm sorry Ethan, but we can't continue anymore. You've been the happiest 16 months of my life. Bringing me nothing but joy but everyday is a struggle. We have our own ways to go and I hope you understand that I will always love you. But I hope you realize that you deserve someone better. " you said trying to hold back your tears.
With that, you walked out the door leaving him confused and in shock.
You walked home that night with tears streaming down your face knowing you just lost the most amazing guy ever. And it was all your fault for letting stupid things get to you...
