Breaking Up with Ethan pt. 2

So after breaking up, you two just kinda left it as friends. You weren't sure if Ethan still had feelings for you but he recently had gotten a girlfriend. Her name was Kayla. She was really pretty honestly, she had long brown hair and she had tanned skin. She was about your height and she was really sweet, funny and bubbly. She wasn't those types of girls that were bitches with their boyfriends exes. She was actually really nice to you. Lately though you were kinda feeling jealous. And you were postive that you had no feelings for him but you werent sure after a while. " Soooooooo how's Kayla?? " you sait sitting on the couch after you and the twins finished eating dinner. " Oh she's good i guess. " he said. His face was suddenly full of sadness. " Ayye guys I'm gonna go to the park for a walk ill be back in a little " Gray said walking towards the door. " Ok " you and Ethan said at the same time. " Y/N come sit next to me I wanna show you something. " he said patting next to him on the couch. You felt kind of awkward sitting next to him so close so you kinda moved. He took out him phone and opened his texts. He tapped the message that said " Kayla " on it. he handed me the phone. " Read it from there to here. " he said pointing at certain text.

Kayla:

Hey Ethan, so I wanted to talk but I didn't wanna do it in person because I didn't wanna make it awkward but here it goes.

Ethan:

Oh sure um go for it?

Kayla:

I wanna break up. I feel like we just weren't good together. I'm sorry

Are you there?

I know you saw this, im really sorry umm yea sorry Ethan

You looked at Ethan again. " Wow, I'm really sorry Ethan, umm you ok? " you said giving him back his phone. " Yea i guess. " he said. " How long a- " you were saying before a pair of soft lips touched yours. You looked at Ethan. He had his eyes closed. You didn't pull back, you just kissed back. It felt good to kiss him again. You knew that you still loved him from that time. When he pulled away all you wanted to do is reconnect your lips to show him how you actually felt, so you did. When you pulled away for the second time finally. " I still love you and i always have and i just dated her because i wanted to get you off my mind off of you but i guess it didn't really work out. I'm sorry i kissed you. But you kis-" he said till you cut him off.. " But i kissed back because i hd forotten that i loved your kisses. I also forgot that i love you.. " you said. " You you do? " he said as a smile spread across his face. " I'm sorry i broke up with you. Umm do you wanna be my b-boyfriend again. " you said and immediatly regretting it and looking at the ground. " I'd love to be your boyfriend again " he said smiling lifting your chin kissing you softly.
