# The Sewers
One way to get out of this cat and mouse chase is to exit through the manhole. Yet, the masked man ran towards a dead end. Physically cringes as his boots were getting wet by the dirty water.
A regular man with a mask and is also in a hoodie with green jeans isn't suppose to be inside of London's sewer tunnels. He's supposed to do regular stuff like regular men do. Though, just from the first paragraph you've already knew this guy isn't some regular Londoner.
"Stop right there, criminal!"
Forget to mention that this man's actually a robber. Who just stole bunch of goods from a local jewellery store. He's currently being chased by 3 cops. Though, he wasn't a solo robber. His partners had already escaped the sewers along with the goods awhile ago. While he busy himself to distract the cops for them.
This is probably a selfless act of sacrifice but who is he to know that by how many sins he had committed.
He's an experience runner- Running from his problems at least. The cops are no exception. If they want to catch him, they are going to experience failure first because this man is no regular criminal.
Within a swift movement he changes into the opposite platform, away from the cops and continued on with his running. Not even catching a breath, he still isn't breaking a single sweat. The cops yells at him to stop but he only laughs in return. It's been 10 minutes since the others had fled the sewers, what use would he be if they did caught him?
Although, if he does get caught now, that'll be such a shame.Because not only is his plan is to outpace them but it is to exhaust them.
As the criminal is about to finish his inner monologue, his eyes widens as he stops dead in his tracks. Infront of him is a man in a uniform with multiple badges and even medals attached around it. His hat that is usually worn by cops is decorated with gold that shines brightly even under the sewer's dim tunnel lights. He looks so.. Well done. The criminal isn't a religious man but god made that police officer inhumanly perfect. He couldn't help but stare for a few seconds.
"Здрасьте." The man in uniform, says as he rises his hand as a greeting. He looks very welcoming at first glance. The way he's very calm and friendly would have tricked the criminal but he knows better than to greet back a russian.
Knowing almost nothing about the language, the criminal tries to communicate with his hands. No, not sign language but his fist between that man's teeth. Why? Because he thought he could at least daze the man so he can buy himself some time to run.
To his surprise, the cop didn't move an inch when he punched him. The cop is unfazed. The criminal knows he wasn't that physically strong but to deliver a blow without at least hurting the target, he has to be the weakest man in the entire planet. The criminal internally curses to himself.
"Are you done?" Says the cop with an unamused look. The criminal gasps as his hand got tightly held by the officer, threatening to crush it if he shows any signs of struggle.
The cop takes a handcuff hanging from his uniform with his unoccupied hand. "You, Knox, is charged with 21 felonies, 11 counts of intimidations including fraud and attempted murder on a government official for which I hereby arrest you for." The cops says as he handcuffs him. The thick russian accent scares him more than hearing he had been arrested for multiple crimes.Well you can say the criminal, Knox, is very proud of himself with his list of crimes. Though, not to the full extant because he had been caught so easily by this foreign man. All those years of running had finally come to an end. Knox, who is dissatisfied by this had to mention the cops' other failures, to make himself feel a little better. "You're too late, my partners had already gone. You failed to fetch the goods." Knox grins under his mask as he's being walked to the exit. The cop just stares into the distance, not a single thought behind those void eyes of his. Knox's eye twitches, realizing the police officer didn't even react to his words. He doesn't like being ignored but didn't want continue bothering the cop.
# Outside the jewellery shop
Sometime after, as they resurfaced, Knox's sensitive eyes tries to adjust with the bright lighting. When he did, his heart drops. Knox looks pale. Probably paler than paper. Maybe it's because he's a man with albinism but that detail doesn't matter. His said partners, who he claimed to have fled the sewers were on the ground, bathe in blood with their legs detached from their bodies. Similar to a scene from a gruesome horror movie. Knox knows and is normal about lethal force in police operations but this is too much just to stop a harmless robbery.
The grip on Knox's arm were noticeably tightened, he turns to see the cop's face. Only to be greeted with an indifferent expression staring at nothing. Ever since this foreign officer came out of nowhere, his plans were already ruined.
Just who is this man?
