Val's POV:
Continued on walking, wanting to get as far away as we could so we couldn't be found again. "So ye knew 'em still ye thought I was one of them, my fiancée here was one of them?" Daryl questioned, still baffled by the fact that these people truly believed we were part of the group that was after them. "When we were... we were there since the beginning. We still didn't know everyone."
"Back when we first threw in with them, it was as good as place as any. Then things got harder, people got harder. Human nature kicked in and it became a truly unique kind of shitshow."
"People will trade anything for safety, for knowing that they're safe."
"Everything. So they got nothing left except just... existing."
"Hey, nobody's safe anymore. Can't promise people that anyhow." Daryl stated. I guess he had what I said to him on his mind. As shitty as it was, it was the truth. "But you could promise the people who would want to hear it."
Tina started to jog up ahead, "hey, tina hold up." The man scolds, as we followed straight after her. Soon coming across a burned out building or maybe a greenhouse of sorts, either way it was nothing but a frame with ash all throughout. "Carla and Delly. That's them." Tina muttered as she stood in front of the charred frame. "Me and Tina used to babysit them when they were kids." The brunette began to explain as Tina began walking through the scene before us. "Everyone said that they went out north when it all started. We didn't know."
"I did this." The man stated, with defeat throughout his voice. "we did this."
For a moment, it was peaceful. Tina was kneeling down laying flowers on the dead bodies. In just a split second, we had to jump into action. Hearing growls and Tina's screams of panic. Tripping over her own two feet falling them, soon getting grabbed and pulled further down than she already was, a chunk getting ripped from her. "Baby, you need to do something." I just about yelled, a horrible feeling overwhelming me as Daryl instantly ran over, pulling the walkers' heads off of her, stabbing them.
The other two, also ran closer. I could hear the brunette begin to sob "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry baby. We had to try. We had to try. We had to." She cries, as she pulled Tina up to her. They were sisters. I could only imagine she was feeling. Well actually I did know how she was now feeling, only what I had been told was never actually true. My brother was alive, and right now I was still hoping that he was, after the last time I heard from him. Daryl too knew it all to well.
I stepped over to him as soon as he had walked back away and pulled him in close to me, placing one of his hands on my bump to try and comfort him for just a small second. I knew that he would instantly be thinking about Merle. Even if he didn't want to say anything. I could just tell by the small frown on his face from when he looked at the sisters. "It's okay dare." I whispered in his ear, reassuringly. Just so he knew that I already understand without him needing to tell me.
We had lost so many people that mattered so much to us, now we as listened to someone else's cries it just brought back all the feelings, I knew he was trying so hard to shut off.

I sat beside the girl, trying to comfort her the best I could since we barely knew each other. Daryl was helping the man dig holes. He looked back at me, after looking between the man and the woman. I could already tell what he was debating on. I shrugged my shoulders but mouthed the words its worth a shot to him. He nodded back in reply. "Hey. How many walkers have you killed?" He asked one of the first important questions. The man stopped what he was doing and stood straight up, giving Daryl an odd look. "Just answer the question." Daryl muttered.
"a lot." The man huffed.
"A couple dozen at least."
"How many people have you killed?"
