Darian's POV:
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Anastasia..." I bow slightly as a smile coloured her cheeks pink. Her smile softly innocent and dangerously mesmerising. Her skin fair and smooth. But I could only tell by her phalanges that caressed my palm in greeting.
She was the most beautiful woman I had ever met.
Her eyes hazel with a pinch of green. Her black long hair glowed as it dangled behind her flawlessly. She was enchantingly beautiful.
And I loved her dearly...
Until...red coloured my hands with her blood.
Spooked by the red stain of blood that filled my dream, I wake up, panting in a wet pool of sweat.
My hands were the first thing I inspected to make clear of blood. No blood. I sighed in relief then pushed back my hair as it stuck to my forehead.
Anastasia? Who was that?
That wasn't the first time I had a dream about her. But these days I've been seeing her in them more too frequently. Its more like visions than dreams actually.
No...more like memories of the past. But whose memories?
"Anastasia?" Necromancer asked.
"Yes. Do you know her?"
He shakes his head.
Back to square one then.
Dreams of this woman started to emerge awhile back but I paid no attention to it since I saw it as mere images. But now it's taking over my sleep. It's gone further to me seeing her in what seems to be trances.
"But at least now you have her name," Necro stated, as he cleaned up his shop with a duster.
He was right, honestly. For months now I had no idea what her name was or who she was. But now I know her name's Anastasia and that...I may have had something to do with her.
'I loved her dearly...'
Sighing, I lean against the wall, trying desperately to remember something. But nothing. I remember nothing.
"She's probably maybe just a mere soul you escorted."
That did come to mind. But why would I be having dreams of a mere soul from the past. She must be more than that.
What relationship may have linked me to her?
Feeling completely puzzled, I groan in frustration. This whole thing about my blocked memories pisses me off. If only I remembered everything it would be a lot more easier to know who she was and who was the cause of my memory block?
"Maybe you should take the day off and clear your head. It could be helpful in a way. Maybe even find a woman and-"
Before he could end his sentence, I glare in his direction and he shrinks behind the shelves. "It was just a suggestion."
"I don't take holidays."
"Then see it as a form of clearing you mind to focus on regaining your memories." He bravely speaks as he appeared at the other side of the shelf like a thief.
Moving away from the wall, I look toward the window. It was still morning.
I wonder what the human is doing right now.
"I have somewhere to be."
"An appointment?" Necro peeked his head out feeling a bit confident to speak.
