"Kaizer, what the hell? Bakit may dalawang lechon dito?" Naiinis na bungad agad ni Cassidy sa matalik na kaibigan ng sinagot nito ang tawag niya.
"You told me that you want two lechons on Christmas, so wish granted. Merry Christmas, best friend." Sagot nito sa kabilang linya.
She rolled her eyes when he said best friend. Alam naman niya na hangang best friend lang siya sa buhay nito, hindi na niya kailangan ng paalala.
"Thank you. But Kai, lima lang kami sa bahay tapos hindi pa pwedeng kumain ng lechon si Pops." Reklamo niya rito.
"I still have another gift for you, punta ko diyan ng 12 midnight." Sagot nito at hindi pinansin ang sinabi niya.
"Pumunta ka na dito, now na! Tulungan mo kami mag pack ng lunch para sa mga ipapamigay namin mamaya sa mga street children at homeless families bago mag pasko. Salamat sa dalawang lechon mo sa kanila na iyong isa kaya tulungan mong mag chop si Caleb." Tuloy-tuloy na sabi niya rito.
"Don't roll your eyes on me, Kaizer." Sabi niya sa kabilang linya ng hindi ito magsalita.
"How do you even know I'm rolling my eyes?"
"Because I know you so well, so go here and help us. Be here in five minutes or else hindi kita bibigyan ng mango graham."
"Ito na po Ma'am naglalakad na po papunta diyan."
"Great! See you!" Sabi niya then ended the call.
"Hi, Ate Sidd. I don't want to eavesdrop but I heard some of what you said to Kuya Kai. Can I also help?" Nagulat siya ng makita niyang nasa likod na niya si Guia at Cali na mukhang kakapasok lang sa bahay nila.
"Oh, hi Guia. I didn't know you're here." Nakangiting bati niya sa nakababatang kapatid ni Mikko.
"We're celebrating the holidays here, Ate. Cali and I are planning a garage sale with our old clothes after Christmas. We're supposed to declutter her closet, but I think we should help you out first." Kwento ni Guia sa kanya.
"Sus! You only want to help out because Kuya Caleb is going to be there." Pang-aasar ni Callista kay Guia.
She laughed ng makita niyang siniko ni Guia ang kapatid niya.
"Did I just heard my name?" Biglang sabat ni Caleb na kakagaling lang sa kusina at nakasuot pa ng apron. Ito kasi ang pinakamagaling magluto sa pamilya nila.
"Yep, Guia here wants to help out in preparing the food packs we'll give out mamayang hapon." Siya na ang sumagot para kay Guia.
Her brother smiled. "That's great so we can finish up early. Let's go, Guia? Everything's at the backyard."
I can't help but smile when Guia blushed at hinila pa niya si Callista para samahan siya. To be young and in love, too bad hindi priority ng kapatid niya ang love. Caleb is practically married to his job.
"Hey, Sidd! I'm here na."
Naramdaman muna niya ang pag-akbay ni Kaizer sa kanya bago marinig ang boses nito.
"You're two minutes late." Masungit na sabi niya kay Kaizer.
"Here, Pavlova from abuela para hindi na mainit yang ulo mo." Sagot nito as he showed her the plate of Pavlova he's holding. She has the worst sweet tooth kaya kinuha niya agad iyon kay Kaizer.
"Tell her I said thank you at sana ituro na niya sa akin soon ang mga dessert recipes niya." Sagot niya rito.
Kaizer's maternal grandmother is a famous chef who owns several high-end restaurants over the country. Malapit siya rito, dahil sobrang bait nito sa kanya.
Kaizer laughed. "Alam mo na iyong sagot kung kelan niya ituturo sayo yung mga recipes niya."
Natawa rin siya. Kaizer's abuela, Lola Charito will only teach her if she marries Kaizer.
"Maybe when I'm 40 and not married yet, I'll consider marrying you." Biro niya kay Kaizer.
"Ang kapal mo talaga! Sana tinanong mo ko kung gusto kitang pakasalan." Ganting sagot nito.
"Huwag mo akong subukan. Kaya kitang pikutin kung makakain ako araw-araw ng mga desserts ni Lola Charito." Pang-aasar niya rito.
"Really? Sige nga paano mo ko pipikutin?" Hamon ni Kaizer sa kanya.

Kaizer he didn't know why he said that, but when Cassidy gave him a smirk ay hindi niya alam ang mararamdaman.
Lumapit ito sa kanya, giving her a smile he has never seen before.

He mentally took a deep sigh.
"Tigilan mo nga ko, Sidd. Baka kung anong sabihin ni Tita Bernice." Sabi niya at bahagya siyang lumayo kay Cassidy.
Cassidy chuckled. "Uyyy affected siya. Ganda ko talaga 'no?"
Nakuha pa nitong magbiro. "Sira ulo ka talaga!"
Tinawanan lang siya ulit nito. "Don't worry walang malisya iyon. Natutulog nga tayo sa isang kama ng magkasama minsan hindi ba? Kaya chill ka lang diyan."
Sinamaan niya ito ng tingin. "Then don't do it again."
He won't forgive himself pag may ginawa siya kau Cassidy na pagsisisihan niya.
Mukhang nagulat ito sa reaction niya. "Fine, I wont do it again. Let's go to the backyard and help Caleb, Guia, and Cali with the preparations."
"Uuwi muna ko, nakalimutan ko may pinapabigay pala si Mom kay Tita Bernice." He said as an excuse.
Cassidy shrugged. "Ok, just go to the backyard pagbalik mo."
Huminga siya ng malalim ng makaalis si Cassidy. Nagmamadali siyang naglakad pauwi, he really needs a cold shower.
