"Good morning po, Tita Bernice! Where's Cassidy?" Tanong niya ng pagbuksan siya ng pinto nito.
It's been a month since he and Cassidy started dating. They have also marked their first month as an official couple by going to a trip to Japan.
It was probably the best trip in his life kahit ilang beses na silang nakapuntang dalawa doon.
"Magko-crossfit daw siya, hijo. Namiss daw mag-exercise. Ewan ko ba sa batang yon ang sipag mag workout." Sagot sa kanya ni Tita Bernice.
When Tita Bernice found out that Cassidy won't push through with selling the house ay umuwi muna ito, dahil miss na rin nito ang Pilipinas and even Callista is thinking twice about her transfer to Harvard.
"Pupuntahan ko na lang po siya doon." Nakangiting sagot niya rito.
"Mabuti pa. Please tell her na masama ang sobrang exercise." Sagot sa kanya ni Tita Bernice.
When he and Cassidy announced their relationship to their families everyone was happy and their mothers, his father, and his sisters all thought it was long overdue.
"Pwede mo bang isama si Spring, hijo? Ikaw muna magbantay. Nag-yayaya kasi si Tita Mel na manood kaming sine." Tanong ni Tita Bernice sa kanya bago siya umalis. Tita Mel is their old rich widowed neighbor na nakatira sa tabing bahay nila Cassidy.
Spring is the 3-year old male German Shepherd that Cassidy adopted from an animal shelter in Texas. It was a high kill animal shelter, and Cassidy made sure all the dogs were adopted hangang si Spring na lang ang natira.
"Sure, Tita. Ako po muna bahala kay Spring." He replied.
"Let's go get your Mom and take her out on a date." I told Spring who was sitting on the front seat of his car.
Tumahol si Spring na tila sumasang-ayon sa sinabi niya.
"Good boy." He smiled while patting the dogs head.
"Sidd!" Tawag niya ng makita si Cassidy na nakaupo sa isa sa mga bench sa gilid, wearing her usual workout clothes that shows off her perfectly toned body. Wala namang mali sa suot nito, but he's fighting the urge to cover her with more clothes.
He knows the Crossfit box where she works out pretty well dahil lagi siyang sumasama rito noon when he has the time.
"Kai! You brought Spring too?" Masayang sabi nito ng makita sila ni Spring.
She immediately crouched down to give Spring a hug.
"Bakit si Spring lang yung may hug? How about his Dad?" Nakangusong sabi niya rito.
He smiled when he saw her cheeks turning bright red, making her blush and feel kilig is something he will never get tired of doing.
"Good morning, love." She said and gave him a hug and a quick peck on the cheeks.
"See? I can also make you blush." Pang-aasar na bulong nito sa tenga niya.
He chuckled. "I don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing you call me love."
He knows it's only been over a month but he's already looking forward to the rest of their lives together.
"Ahem. Pasintabi naman sa mga single." Sabat ng isang pamilyar na boses sa may likuran ni Cassidy.
Pareho silang lumingon at nakita ang isang babae na may katamtamang taas.
"Coach Lara, how are you? It's been awhile." Bati niya sa Crossfit coach na matagal na nilang kilala ni Cassidy.
"Sasama ka bang mag-workout sa amin kaya ka bumisita?" Tanong ni Coach Lara sa kanya.
He smiled. "I just missed my girlfriend kaya bumisita ako, Coach."
