Kissing my best friend was the worst and best thing I have ever done.

I pulled away from Calum's lips slowly and looked into his eyes.

"Wow." I smiled.

Calum let out a small chuckle and dropped his head. "Wow." Calum repeated.

I looked at the wall behind Calum and licked my lips. I'm not sure what to say to Calum after this.

"Hey," Calum tapped my knee. "I know this changes everything. And I mean everything, But I want you to know that I want that." He smiled and looked into my eyes. "I would rather everything change and you know how I feel than for you to never know."

My face went blank and my eyes widened.

Wait a shitting second.

If Cal likes me this changes so much. We just took a major step from sweet kisses to 'hey, best friend, I like you a lot."

"What's wrong." Calum said, raising his hand to touch my cheek.

I moved my head back and looked at his hand like it was crazy.

Calum slowly moved his hand back and looked down. He seemed sad but I didn't know what to say to him.

"Do you like me?" I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows.

Calum looked up and gave me a weak smile. "Yes."

"Oh." I breathed.

He furrowed his eyebrows. "Don't you like me too?"

"I- I don't know." I shook my head.

"But," Cal rubbed his face, "You kissed me back and you pulled me in for another kiss." He said confusingly.

I looked at him, not knowing what to say. He blinked a few times and tilted his head.

"Why?" He asked.

I shook my head. "I don't know?"

"What?" Cal asked, get a little angry.

"I don't know." I whined.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know why I did it." I rolled my eyes. "You were just so sad."

"So you gave pity kisses?"

"No- wait. I don't know." I shook my head.

"How do you not know?" He yelled, standing from my bed.

"I just don't know!" I yelled back.

"So you felt nothing?" He yelled.

I stood from my bed. "I. Don't. Know." I poked his chest between each word.

"Don't poke me." He swatted my hand away.

"Don't ask me questions I don't know the answer to." I rolled my eyes.

"Well it sure seems like you don't know anything at this point." I yelled.

I rolled my eyes and turned around from him, feeling my eyes tear up.

I knew this would happen as soon as Calum's lips touched mine. I don't want to loose my best friend.

"Felt nothing." He muttered to himself.

He grabbed my shoulders and turned me around.

"Tell me you feel nothing." He put both of his hands on my cheeks. He slowly leaned in for a kiss.

The first one was a light peck. A sweet kiss that left me wanting more.

The next kiss was a bit more intense. His hands slid down my body as my hand flew to his hair.
