What if..?

Hey beautiful people, I am extremely sorry for not updating for a while but I had my exams and a lot of other stuff to deal with. I am writing after a long period so there might be some mistakes please ignore them and enjoy.

What if after Maan separated and anupama went to USA to achieve her dreams but as soon as she reaches there a surprise or rather a shock changes her whole life.

5 years later

A lady is seen hustling in the busy streets of New York going her way to her new job.

She hurriedly knocks on the door and a firm yet gentle voice calls her in

Man :- Ms Joshi you're on time. Take a seat.

The lady is none other than Anupama Joshi.

Anupama :- (smiles) Thank you Mr John.

The man is John Matthew owner of "La Grande" restaurant.

John :- So you are new here and have no experience?

Anupama :- Yes Mr John I agree I don't have any experience working in a restaurant but I assure you that I have a lot of experience in cooking food. I can cook Indian, American and bit of Italian food.

John was impressed with her interview so he offered her a job of chef with a decent pay.

John :- You can join from tomorrow but make sure to be here on time.

Anupama :- (excitedly) Thank you so much Mr John for your generous offer. I will join from tomorrow on time.

She takes her leave and rushes back to her apartment.

Anupama opens her apartment door and shuts it with a thud. She jumps in excitement as she can no longer control herself.

Anupama :- (happily) Yes Yes Yes Yes!!!!!! Job mil gayi mujhe!!!

Her excitement increases when she hears a voice behind her.

" Offo oh mummy mere bina dance?"

As soon as anupama hears this cute voice her smile immediately widens and she turns around and lifts up the owner of the cute voice and swirls her around.

" Hahahaahaaa mumma stop stop please mumaaa hahaaha"

Anupama :- Nah mumma ki pari aaj mummy nahi rukegi.

Anupama finally slows down and hugs the person tightly.

" Ouch mumma thoda dhire"

Anupama :- Sorry meri bachi muahhh

Anupama pecks the little human on her face and then puts her down.

Anupama :- tujhe bata hai ira I got a job!!!

ira :- (excitedly jumping on the ground) Yeahhhh!!! Aab mujhe kya milega?

Anupama :- (bends down to her level and cutely asks) Kya chahiye meri ira ko?

Ira :- (pretend to think) Mmm....mujhe na ek bada sa panda chahiye.

Anupama laughs and hugs her.

Anupama :- Thike hum panda layenge okay?

Ira :- Yes Yes Yes!!!

Anupama :- Lekin agar tum kal se Roz school jaogi tab.

Ira :- (suddenly gets sad) What school jana padega ewwww, no mumma pleaseeee.

Anupama :- School toh Jana hi padega aur aap toh humesha school mai top karti ho na so itni sad kyu ho school jane se.

Ira doesn't answer and looks down. Anupama gets worried and again asks her.

Anupama :- kya hua ira? Aap mumma ko sab bata sakte ho.

Ira looks into her mother's eyes and hugs her.

Ira :- (sadly) Woh mumma India mai jab hum the na tab sab mujhe tease karte the ki mere papa nahi hai aur aab yaha pe bhi sab karenge.

Anupama's eyes wells up in tears as she hears her daughter.

Anupama remembers that unfortunate day when that accident happened and her life changed. Her Anuj.....

Anupama :- (in her mind) No Anu no, uss aadmi ke baare mai aab mat sochna.

Anupama puts her daughter on the cushion and gently lifts her head and says

Anupama :- Naira listen to me carefully. Agar tumhare papa nahi hai toh kya hua, mumma toh hai na and I promise ki mumma aapko sabhi khushiyan dengi, okay?

Ira (short for naira) :- (nods her head happily) Okay mumma, I love you.

Anupama chuckles slightly and hugs her daughter :- I love you too Mera baccha.

Who is naira and is she anupama's real daughter? Who is naira's father and where is he now?
