I took my seat in the train and took a deep breath.
"Every things is ok, Adhya." I said to myself as release a deep breath.
"Is it?" a cold voice came from beside me leaving me froze in my seat.
I looked at my watch. it's past the time of train dep...
Two woman enter the bridal room and said my family was calling me.
I look at them feeling strange.
‘What’s happening? Wasn’t bhai was suppose to come and get me.’ I thought.
“Call Bhai.” I told them.
They looked at each other then one of them left.
“Who are you? I never saw you here before.” I asked the woman.
“I am here with the planning team ma’am.” She said with a nod.
The other woman came inside with maa behind her.
She was looking tense.
“What happen maa?” I asked looking at her worryingly.
“Beta can I ask you something, promise me you will say yes.” She said with tears running down her eyes.
“Maa what’s going on?” I asked a bit panicking.
“First promise me Adhya?” she cried.
“Ok! I promise you.” I said taking her hand in mine.
“I am sorry my child. This mother is you not strong enough.” She cried.
“Whatever you will see outside, promise me you will stay strong.”
“I promise.”
We walked outside the room with those two-woman coming behind us.
While we were walking I notice that there were not a single guest was present. Everything was quite. Something was not right.
I look at maa in question and she signal me to keep walking.
We enter the hall. I raised my head up and looked around.
My breath hitched and I stayed frozen in my spot.
There are lots of big bulky men in black suit, with big guns, standing in alert.
Papa, bhai, Bhabhi, and all my friends were on the gun point in the corner of the hall. Even Yash and his family too.
Wait a minute, Yash is standing here than who is sitting on the mandap.
I took a deep breath and look at the man sitting in the mandap whose fimiliar back was facing me.
“Kanya ko bulaiye.” Panditji said. (Call bride)
The man stand from his place and slowly turned around making me gasped putting both my hand on my mouth and looked at the man in front of me with wide eye.
“A-Abhivansh” I said in disbelieve.
