“Meri poti!” Radha dadi exclaimed looking at her granddaughter on the ground.

“Adhya beta what happened?” Dadi asked me.

“Dadi ye...”I was cut off by a loud annoying cry.

“Look what your bahu did to my granddaughter.” Radha dadi exclaimed.

There was a tini-tinny cut, similar size of an ant, on her finger.

Dadi looked at me for an explanation.

Just as I was about to explain again i was cut off.

“Is this how a daughter-in-law of Raghuvanshi act.” Radha dadi screamed at me.

“Parvati you should have at least taught her manners and how to act like a Raghuvanshi. And not to act like some low class woman. I didn’t expected this from you Parvati. ” She said turning to dadi.

“Making mistakes before you still didn’t learnt yet. Did you want it to happen again? Did you want another Sakshi in this house?” She said looking at dadi.

Dadi and maa stood frozen in their place. Their eyes held the pain.

“And you girl, how dare you raised your filthy hands on my Raagini. Just because Raghuvanshi taken you in, you think you have become a queen. The place you are proudly standing is belongs to my Raagini.” She screamed at me.

“What can we expect from low level girl like you. Did your parents only taught you how to trap rich man? Or your parent are the sae.”

Tears falling from my eyes as I heard her words. I never in my whole life felt this angry before.

“My parents taught me to respect the elders and manners well. But they also taught me never to bow down to anyone  unworthy and never to take anyone’s disrespect regardless of age.” I said in farm tone.

“I have not once disrespected you neither your granddaughter. I kept quite even after hearing all your rants. My parents, dadi and  Nandani maa has taught me everything that needed. But” I said everything in calm voice trying to control my anger.

“I am sorry to say no one taught me how to be inside a married couple room in their absence. Sniffing the shirt of a married man. Or to lay on their bed while telling to his wife about their naked night interaction.” I said in venom glaring at Raagini.

“So forgive me, if this is what has been taught in your family. Then, I absolutely refuse to be any part of your family culture. I rather say happy with my husband and my family with their given sanskar.”

“And about my dadi sanskar, which you pointing your finger at, is more above than yours that you can never understand.”

“I am wife of Abhivansh Rai Raghuvanshi , Adhya Abhivansh Rai Raghuvanshi, elder bahu of this house. And till the last day of my breath, I will never let or allow anyone to disrespect or raised their fingers at family or their sanskar.” I said every word with dangerous calmness.

“Dadi I think the haveli is not in the situation to welcome and host a guest. Neither there are empty rooms available for the guest to stay for night, right?” I asked Dadi innocently.

Dadi just nods her head hastily.

“Since there is no empty rooms, we can’t be able to host the guest at the moment, right?”

Dadi again nodded.

“Then Bharat, prepared for the guest departure. They are leaving right now.” I said looking at the servant.

“Y-You can’t do this to us. You don’t know who I am?” Radha dadi screamed.

“Practically, she can. She is Abhivansh’s wife. You know the rules. Whoever is the wife of the head, will holds every decision for the house and its members. Her word are superior than mine.” Dadi said smirking.

Soon they escorted out of the house.

I turned to my family slowly who had had their jaw on the floor.

“~whistle~, WOW Bhabhi, that was badass.” Vihaan said whistling.

“Damn! I wish I had popcorn with me right now.” Viraj said.

I slowly turned to dadi who was looking at me with proudly.

“Umm....” I don’t know what to say now realising what i did just now.

“Its too late now. Everyone go to your room, we will talk in the morning. Adhya come with me child.” Dadi announced.

Everyone went back to their room. Maa patted my head and went upstairs towards her room.

I took a deep breath, calming myself then went forward to dadi’s room.

I knocked thrice on half opend door as its big no to knock twice.

“Come inside Adhya.” Dadi said.

I stepped inside the room.

“Come sit here.” Dadi said patting besides her on the bed.

I sat besides her as she said.

‘I am getting scolded now?’ I thought.

“No Adhya, I didn’t call you to scold you here.” Dadi said smiling.

‘How did she know what did I thought?’ my eyes widen.

“You are like a open book to me Adhya, so you can’t hide anything from me.” Dadi said smiling.

Flashback

“You are like a open book to me wife, so don’t think you could even hide anything from me.” Abhivansh said smirking.

Flashback End.

‘Surely they are Dadi and grandson.’

I shook mu head to get him out of my head.

“Adhya, what you did today...” she stopped making my heart bounce in nervousness.

“Ek dum mast tha. I always wanted to do that to them. But something happened in the past which stopped me from raising my head in front of others.” She said sadly. [It was fabulous.]

“But now I can proudly raise my head up high.” She said squealing.

“I am not gonna lie. When you came as Abhivansh wife in this house. I was really tensed for you. I kept questioning ‘How you gonna manage his behaviour, his anger? Will you able to face those monster out there, who are waiting for a single chance to pull you down?” She took my hands in hers.

“But slowly you started to prove all my thoughts wrong. No one handle him like you do. Adhiraj even started to come home and spend more time with family than before.  You even brought Nandani old self back. And today you proved why are you daughter of this house.” She cupped my face as I wiped her tears.

“Thanks you my child. Now I can have hope for having my old Abhivansh back.”

I hugged her as she sob a bit.

Soon we both fell asleep comforting each other.
