Jyestha:
It was my 7th birthday, and the air was filled with the scent of freshly baked sweets and the sound of laughter and music. Our home was adorned with colorful decorations, and the garden was lit up with strings of twinkling lights, casting a magical glow over the festivities.
As the party went on, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the attention and the grandeur of it all. So, I slipped away from the crowd and made my way to the quiet haven of our backyard garden, seeking some calmness among the chaos.
I stood in the sprawling garden, surrounded by the intoxicating fragrance of jasmine and roses. The moon hung low in the sky, while fireflies danced in the air like tiny stars brought down to earth.
I twirled around, my princess gown flowing around me, feeling like the Princess from one of my story books.
And that's when I caught sight of him - Yug, my brother's best friend. He stood near the swing, his silhouette illuminated by the soft moonlight. My heart fluttered in my chest as I watched him, his gaze flickering between me and the moon.
"Birthday girl, what are you doing out here all alone?" His voice cut through the night, pulling me out of my reverie.
I shook my head, feeling a blush creep onto my cheeks. "I...I was just enjoying the night," I stammered, suddenly feeling self-conscious under his gaze.
He moved towards me, and my heart skipped a beat. He smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "It is a beautiful night, isn't it?" he said, stepping closer to me.
I nodded, unable to tear my eyes away from him. He was like a prince from one of my storybooks, handsome and charming, with a smile that could light up even the darkest of nights
"Everything was so pretty inside as well." I say dreamily looking up at the moon.
"What was?" He asked.
"Everyone dancing inside." I softly explain.
"What was so pretty in that?" he wondered, shaking his head like it was a childish thought but he was curious about why I found it beautiful.
"The dance, the prince and princess in the storybooks also dance like that. Cinderella and Prince Charming did when she forgets her shoes and ran," I explained, turning to him.
He chuckled softly, and reached out a hand towards me. "Would you like to dance then?" he asked, his voice low and inviting.
My heart skipped a beat. I didn't expect that. Yug doesn't dance, infact he rarely even smiles but with me he always does.
I nodded placing my hand in his, A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips.
"This is your birthday gift your highness." he said softly, his voice filled with tenderness as I clumsily tried to follow his lead because he seemed to be perfect at it and I wondered where he learned this.
Yug rarely calls my name. Rarely is a bit of generosity actually because he never does. He always either calls me "Your highness" or "Princess" which is cute.
Together, we swayed to the music drifting from the party, our laughter mingling with the rustle of leaves and the chirping of crickets.
In that moment, as I danced beneath the stars with the boy of my dreams, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. And as his hand tightened around mine, I knew that this was a birthday I would never forget and that Magic was real because I was feeling it.
So falling like snow?

Do me and favour and kindly drop your votes and comments.
Just let me know if you are excited for how their story will go or not. There is alot of catching up to do since this book was supposed to be updated before Blossom and burn but I think I'd finish it beofre that one since I already have half of the chapters written.
