After we tried and tried to get Hailey to come to the bar with us. We walked in to find out it's karaoke night!
Hailey POV: I'm so excited I love karaoke. I been so depressed lately. The love of my life has a new girlfriend and I'm so heartbroken. I love him so much I even wrote a song about him. We been together for so long. I can't believe I was so stupid to fall for him. But the bad thing is I would fall for him all over again if I got the chance. It just hurts that nothing ever means anything to him. Like what I said what I felt meant nothing. I felt so many things and he just thought I was bitching at him. But I wasn't because I cared about him and his safety. Why does love to have to be so hard? Jayden said, "HAILEY DO KARAOKE!" I smiled and said, "Okay I wonder if they will do a song I wrote." I talked to the guy who does Karaoke and he said he will do the song I wrote.
I get up on stage and out of the corner of my eye I saw him. Zander is here with his ugly ass girlfriend. I know he is only with her to make me jealous. The guy yelled out, "Hailey is going to sing her new song she wrote. Give it up for Hailey!"
The music starts to play I took a deep breath before I started singing.
"Did you really mean it when you said you loved me? All you did was shoved me away. Did you really hated me that much to move on so quick? You made me think I deserve it. Been together since 2016 gave you my heart wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. All you gave me was lies instead of truths. You wanted kids with me we even picked out names for them. I gave you the world just for you to give it to someone else. All you gave me was empty promises did you even mean what you said. You made me think it was my fault. I fell in love with you all over again. Even all the hurt you put me through I still love you. Why can't I let you go. Stop giving me empty promises."
I stepped down and said, "Sorry I didn't finish the song." Everyone clapped for me I smiled, and I was trying not to keep my eye contact to Zander because I don't want him to see me. I bumped into someone, and I looked up and It was Zander. I said, "Oh uh sorry." I walked away. He said, "Hailey?" I turned and said, "What." He said, "Did you really write that song?" I said, "Uh yeah." He smiled and said, "I liked it." I turned around and walked away with tears in my eyes. He doesn't care about me anymore. I walked with Trenton. I looked at him and he gave me a big hug. We decided to go home. It's time to move on.......
