The moment I stepped inside of the shop, I was instantly greeted by the scent of coffee beans and the person who was standing behind the counter.

I make my way to the counter and ordered my usual drink. As I wait for my order, I walked towards an open space and sat, grabbing my earphones and playing some music.

Being lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize how many minutes had passed. I was interrupted when I heard a voice talking to me. They placed my drink on the table and went on the opposite direction.

I took a sip and savored the sweet taste. I heard the door open and saw young kids happily talking to each other like no one can disturb them. Youth.

Briefly, I remembered myself and my old friends doing the same thing back in high school. Shifting my gaze to the person behind them, a smile creeps onto my face.

There goes the love of my life.
