' It was getting dark and Charlie could barely see the surroundings. He tried to concentrate on his surroundings... someone is crying, he could hear it now ... somewhere close . He started walking in that direction..picked up his pace when he could make out the silhouette of a person, crouching down on the floor and wailing. There was a pungent smell in the air...he scrunched his nose as he came close to the person who was crying. Then he noticed it.

There was someone lying on the floor.
Face down, it's a women, young maybe ? Her hair splattered around in something dark ?
He crouched next to the woman who was crying and looked at her .

It was Nilanika...her face covered in tears and pale.

Charlie couldn't register what he was seeing Infront of his eyes.
' What are you doing here? Who is that?'
He shouted pointing towards the women on the floor.

' I think....I think ......I killed her' Nila mumbled, tears running down her cheeks.

Charlie looked at her again..he was looking at her closely and he saw that Nila was completely covered in blood. Her clothes, her hands.... everything.
Now that he was aware of that,he noticed that they were sitting in a pool of blood.

His gut twisted.

Amaya shut her eyes and rubbed over her closed eyelids, as if to try to rub away the scary scene she just typed down on the laptop screen.

' What the hell...' she muttered under her breath.

She was typing down the third chapter and the first two was pretty cool and she liked the way he was building the story and the way he was narrating the fictional world. She enjoyed it and even hoped that she would be able to finish the job right away , but this chapter opening itself was creepy. Like any other reader , she was feeling disoriented.

Nilanika was the protagonist of The Blood Bath Series, a forensic science graduate , who loves to solve crimes like puzzles....but has somewhat secluded lifestyle and mysterious family.
The first two books were about the  cases she solved while working with a private detective, Charlie, who was good with martial arts and skills , but was far behind when it came to logical reasoning , but they worked well together.

The last book in the series , is more personal, if Amaya could guess from the first two chapters. Nilanika has returned to her hometown and she's dreading about a lot of things and her family went missing.

It was really engaging and Amaya was sure that she was going to enjoy it no matter what until the dead body appeared in this chapter. She sighed!

Why can't Adi write a few more chapters without killing anyone?
She's going to have a hard time to finish this book.
The eerie feeling she gets while reading this unedited version, it was definitely creeping her out.

Amaya looked down at the handwritten manuscript on the table.
His handwriting was beautiful. It gets loopy at times, maybe he was excited to write that part and writing it down in a fast manner and on some pages, there were side notes, asking questions to himself or to the characters he was describing.
It seemed like he really considered the characters as real people who he can talk to?
Is that correct?
That's how writers work?
Amaya had no idea..
She writes , yes. Mostly poems or random scribbles. She had won prizes for story writing in school but nothing on this scale. Adhvaith's series has a separate world, which he had built up only through words.
She admired the way he was able to visualise them , with a tangible quality.
Amaya wanted to take a break so that the nauseating feeling would go away.
