Gemma interrogated both Michael and me. Michael did his best to try to shut me up but I just spilled the soup. My mind was swirling, as if I was drunk, and my vision was blurred. I was disgusted by Michael's actions. Michael had just tried to sexually abuse me. He's been physically abusing me for the past months, but now this? I couldn't help but cry as Gemma held me in her arms.
"Stop making a big scene." Michael said to me as he bukled his belt. "You knew you were provoking me."
"Michael leave the fucking house before I call the police on you." Gemma yelled to him as she rubbed my back.
"Don't worry. I'll be meeting with dad. I'm leaving to Boston today in the afternoon." He said to Gemma. "You can come with me, if you want." Michael said now directly to me.
"What is wrong with you?" I rhetorically asked.
After a good thirty minutes of bickering with Gemma, Michael left the apartment with a small suitcase on hand. To be quite honest, I was glad he was leaving. More than that, I was glad Gemma had seen what a douche bag her brother was. Gemma shed a few tears, she didn't know things were this bad between me and her brother.
Throughout these two years of me living in Manhattan, everyone knew that Michael was attracted to me. It was blatantly obvious. Michael however, was oblivious of his surroundings or what anyone may have thought of his advances with me. Gemma begged me not to report Michael with the police, however I wasn't planning to. Call me stupid, but I was scared that if I do take him to court, the judges figure out I was a teenage runaway and they send me back with my parents, and they put not only Michael, but his family and also Alex's for helping me out. I couldn't afford such risks.
I was able to calm down because Gemma made me some tea. She was a really good listener, and eventually she got me off thinking of the horrible events that had previously happened. After watching four hours of Oprah, Gemma persuaded me into getting ready to go downstairs and have a slumber party with Lyah.

Due to the lovely rainy weather, I was forced to wear warm clothes, something I enjoyed to do. I threw on an old hoodie from school and some sweat pants.
"Jules I know we're going downstairs but oh my God you look like a mess." Gemma said as she pulled me out of the apartment. I couldn't help but laugh. I always liked to look nice but not around the apartment
. "You never know if you're going to meet the love of your life while picking up the mail" I said to Gemma joking around. Even if I looked terrible.Ha. That's a lie. I was disgusted by men, as of today. I didn't want to do anything with anyone.
"Hey girlies!" Lyah yelled from the kitchen as we entered her apartment. Lyah lives with her father, who is an engineer and rarely ever is home. Because of that, we own a pair of keys to her place. Itt was about six in the afternoon and Lyah was making onion dip to eat it with tortilla chips.Gemma and I helped her around the kitchen, to take all the foods to the living room and after we did so, we sat the three of us squished on the couch facing the fifty two inch television.
Gemma was swapping through the channels, and I was too busy eating the whole bag of chips I did not take notice Lyah had my phone. "Juliet who is this guy?" Lyah said as she extended her arm for me to see a picture of shirtless caleb on my chest while my hair was slightly messy and I was wearing his shirt.
"Who!" Gemma yelled and took the phone from Lyah, she examined the picture and then scrolled to a few other pictures of me and Caleb being idiots, others smiling, and others simply being affectionate.
"He's my friend." I said.
"Please!" Gemma squealed. "Are you guys like dating or something? He's hot"
